RCCN was dispatched as a result of a flood December 26/20. At the start, I was impressed with their response. Unfortunately, that soon faded. The lack of communication, miscommunication, and inconsistencies only escalated. Once a contract was signed and a $5,000 deductible provided them, they went dormant. After persistence from the Adjuster and myself and the threat of cancelling the contract, a full schedule was provided; plumber, tile setter and 7-10 schedule for remainder of the work. As this company lacks greatly in integrity, good business and ethical practices there was absolutely no communication to me from them as to any changes, they simply did not show up or follow through with the remainder of the work scheduled for 7-10 window (accommodations had been scheduled) and have not refunded the $5,000.00!!! The contract was signed between myself and RCCN and as required, I provided them the deductible directly. They are in breach of contact and I have reasons to believe this is not an uncommon practice for this company! It is worth mentioning that an email from the Project Manager, on February 11/21 stated reimbursement was "currently in process of reversing your deductible, and we will have it in the mail in the next 1-2 business days". This has yet to take place, but rather, they have provided the Adjuster a stream of invoices. I would recommend thinking twice about dealing with this company, there is a lack of ethical practices!
B, we regret your impression of RCCN, however in our 30 year history, we have become know for the opposite of your findings. We are sorry that your circumstances did not allow us to move forward further on your project. In the three decades in business we have built a solid reputation of trust, integrity and excellent customer experiences. It is very, very rare that we can not carry on with a project for various reasons, but rest assured, we are confident that this was the best outcome from our perspective.

Shoddy Commercial Carpet Instal
COMMERCIAL SITE CARPET REPLACEMENT After carpet replacement by this company; Office One: partially re-done as carpet instal was ridiculous! Office Two: Buckling; the owner replies by saying; "will you be putting up blinds, if yes, then don't worry you'll never see it". Third office: carpet was cut too short; owner says "we always have seams at doorways", there are two!! Absolute shoddy workmanship! Stay away!!
We're sorry we weren't able to live up to expectations. We take all customer complaints seriously, and we are always hopeful for a positive resolution. Upon receiving the complaint, the owner and installer went out to inspect the job. A few minor deficiencies were repaired right away. The seam in the doorway was required due to how pre-existing tile was installed; the tile does not end directly underneath the closed door, as would normally be the case, requiring the carpet to have to extend past the closed door to meet the tile. Seams in the doorway are industry standard, as they are less conspicuous. What has been referred to as “buckling” is not the carpet lifting off of the floor, but the carpet following the contour of the floor. This installation was glue down, which results in the carpet following whatever undulations exist in the floor. As a member in good standing of the Alberta Floor Covering Association we advised the customer, with AFCA contact information, that if they wished to have their independent inspector’s review the job we would abide by their findings.- James Wolframe 403-255-5747
My parents had a sectional made by these people...AWEFUL is the only way one can describe the workmanship. Having no experience, could have done a better job in our garage! They string you along, don't answer calls, etc. etc. Stay away!
