After consulting several contractors, I settled on Clarkson Bath & Tile because I had received glowing reviews from eight of their previous clients and as keen on supporting a local business. John Thomas is a low-key kind of guy, but does he know his stuff. From the start, he impressed me as someone who listens to his customers and who has their needs and satisfaction at heart. He and his team worked long hours and non-stop to complete what ended up being a huge job: rearranging the layout of my basement (which includes a rec room, a bedroom and a laundry room), rewiring and replumbing, adding doors and installing a full bathroom complete with a fan, shower stall and porcelain tiles on the floor and wall. When all was done, it was well worth the wait. My family loves the new space and the addition has greatly enhanced my home. What is wonderful about John is the pleasure it gives him to create a beautiful space for his clients: he takes pride in the quality work he provides, and deservedly so! The sign of a satisfied customer: I will be hiring Clarkson Bath & Tile again in the Fall to renovate my upstairs bathroom.

I would not recommend this company to anyone. First of all, though he was nice enough upon our initial meeting, once Stan had the contract his attitude was dismissive. He was always rushed and appeared stressed, as if we were one too many clients. The work was shoddily done. Two pot lights are eyesores still today: one in my kitchen bares a gaping hole around it where the plaster was knocked off and slapped back on at a later visit; another in my front hallway has casing that is lopsided and leaves a gap between it and the ceiling. Furthermore, when installing a dimmer, the contracter damaged my dining room wall around the electrical outlet, saying all it needed was a paint job. I would expect that no traces of work done should be left by installers. It is not the work of the client/householder to fix damage done contractors.! Stan did come by to inspect, but never sent anyone back to fix it properly. I also had to wrangle with him regarding the price after the fact and at no point did he offer his professional opinion prior to my finalizing my order, which would have resulted in the the installation of fewer pot lights (not knowing just how bright they are, I had far too many installed and probably only needed half of them to serve my lighting needs). I feel that I have been taken advantage of and now that the company has its money, I haven't heard from them since.

I was surprised and upset to read this review. We at Kronos Electric take customer satisfaction very seriously. When we left Karen's home it was understood that the job was completed in a satisfactory manner. Although the plastering was not in the contract, when it was recommended to you to that the patch up work can be done by one of our licensed plasterers, it did not seem that this was of concern to you at that time due to cost restraints.. We then took on the patch up role ourselves and completed this for you.
In regards to the amout of potlights, we strive to ensure that the customer receives what they request and if there are any issues arising throughout the job, this should be communicated directly to our electrician. You had stated in an email that you received positive feedback regarding the potlights we installed and lighting in your home.
Instead of posting a negative review half a year after the job was completed, I wish you had called us directly to further discuss and rectify this issue, as we offer a 10 year warranty on our work and would have been more than happy to correct this.
I sincerely apologize for any misunderstanding. Please give us a call to further discuss your concerns.
If anyone has any questions about this job or any others, I am personally happy to answer them.
All the best to you and your family Karen.
Sincerely, Stan

Edan and his team were efficient, friendly and highly competent. They installed three doors for me in August 2013 the same day that I had other gentlemen installing ceramic tiles in my front entrance. Despite the crowded conditions, they kept it light and were highly professional. They were in and out within hours, setting to work quickly and wasting no time. They cleaned up their work site and you would never have known that they had been here, if it weren't for the pleasing results! (Contrary to the flooring installers who left messes every day -- what a contrast!) My front hallway no longer is drafty as before and all of the doors are sturdy and have dramatically improved the curb appeal of my home. Edan has also phoned twice since the job to ensure that I am still pleased with the job. Well done, Delco Windows and Doors.
