I recently had water penetrate a concrete wall in my home. I was concerned about mold growth given the musty smell that developed before it was found. Gregg was able to come quickly, inspected the area, and gave me an honest assessment. I was able to clean it up myself based on Gregg’s advice. He didn’t try to push any additional or unnecessary services. I’m definitely a satisfied customer.

We hired Serge and his team last month to rip off the existing (rotting) wood siding on the rear addition of our house and to install foam insulation and insulated vinyl siding. The quote was fair and working with Serge was a pleasure. He was responsive throughout the process, he was flexible to change (timelines and scope), and him and his team did a great job with our home. It looks great and we already notice a difference with the insulation added. I would, without hesitation, recommend Serge and his team.

We hired Abe back in July to replace a flat roof and a sloped roof at the back of our house. While the quote was SLIGHTLY higher than the others we received, it was abundantly clear that Abe was much more qualified, would do a much more thorough job (other quotes completely overlooked some serious issues), and cared much more than anyone else. His careful eye spotted other issues which he took care of (often at no charge) and he met all the timelines that we discussed at the beginning, which meant working outside of normal hours. Given all the shady roofers in this city, it's nice to find someone who treats your home with the same care as he would his own. Abe and his team were great from start to finish and I would definitely recommend them and will definitely use them again.

We contacted Rob to re-drywall a ceiling in our basement washroom and to give an opinion on some cracks in our ceiling in our living room. We contacted a few other companies at the same time (all highly rated on HomeStars), most of whom did not respond or responded a week later. Rob replied immediately. He made arrangements to come provide a quote within a couple of days. His price was very competitive compared to others we had received earlier before discovering HomeStars. Rob and his team ended up opening up our living room ceiling to assess the issue. They came up with an innovative and affordable solution. I was impressed throughout the project with the efforts that Rob and his team made to keep the mess contained (they sealed the area off by hanging plastic and covering the floors). Rob also sent a cleaner in twice, which was incredibly generous and appreciated. Rob was in constant contact throughout the work and always responded immediately to questions. In the end we got a new ceiling in the basement washroom, a resolved issue and repaired ceiling in our living room, and both look great - and again, for a very competitive price. I will not hesitate to recommend Rob to friends and family and will definitely use him for any projects that come up in the future.
