Working with Jason at Turlough Design has been a positive experience since day one. I have not only used Turlough to work on my basement, kitchen, and bathrooms, but I have forwarded the company as a contact for people and their experience seems positive as well given the feedback from them. I have seen their work at both commercial and residential projects. I visited one of the work sites as they were doing a restaurant in East York and the work was fantastic. Even speaking with the owner she seemed quite happy with the work. So overall it's been a positive experience working with them.

Bremner Pools have recently repaired and old pool that was crumbling. Did a great job of repairing the shell of the concrete, replaced the marbleite, new tiles, and new coping. It looks amazing and we are very happy with the work. Fair and honest pricing with professional work done. I would gladly recommend this company to anyone looking to have pool work done. Thanks!

Sorry for the delay on the review Mark! Simply put, Mark is a professional in every which way. Offers a high quality product and stands behind everything. An amazing well run store. The store is always organized and the staff are helpful and friendly to work with. I'm in the process of finishing my basement and have only been purchasing materials from here.

John and Frank and amazing. I wouldn't even know where to start. Their work is immaculate, precision, and timely. I have sent them some interesting and challenging projects, but after this last one I felt they needed a review. Where else do you take a 1960 Philco Predicta television, which first off, try and find someone who will fix it, and secondly finding people who actually understand these things inside out. There was only 400 of these things even made way back when. They won't send their repairs out the door without giving the item a good test drive before giving to you. I have some other interesting projects that I will be sending out their way, but i felt it was time the reader knew that theses guys are amazing! Thanks so much!

I just wanted to thank Amberwood Doors for such a wonderful door, as well excellent service. They are a first class operation all the way. Art gave us some useful suggestions choosing our door and it was a smooth process all the way until the finish. Yup, its one of those doors people out walking stop on the sidewalk and look at it, then you get known as the “nice door” people. Thank you Art and all at Amberwood Doors! 100% First class operation. I was having sereral issues with my eaves and downspouts that were causing leaks into my basement. Darren came over, assessed the situation, had it all taken care of within a day. Damaged eaves and downspouts can give a homeowner a lot of grief, and I was one of them. Thank you so much Darren and North Shore for doing such a wonderful job.

Thank you so much Darren for saving the day! ... and my wits! Each and every spring and fall I have to go up the ladder on some cold wet rainy day and clean out the eaves. Which is about as enjoyable as to have a flat tire on a car. But no more! I contacted Darren to come and install a leaf guard system on the eaves and all I can say is " thank you"! Say goodbye to ice damming. These things work great. I just went up to the eaves to take a look and they are draining perfectly. I would recommend it to anyone that has trees on their property where the leaf / needles get into the eaves. Certainly a time saver! Thanks Darren at Northshore!

I had John of Performance Lighting install two Solatubes in my bungalow. One 14" in the kitchen, and one 10" in the hallway of the main floor. All I can say is "wow". These things are amazing! The amount of light from these things is truly incredible. One has to see them in person to see the true amount of light they produce. I also must say that John left the home spotless. A little thing that means a lot! I would gladly recommend John and Performance Lighting to anyone that is considering the Solatubes for their home. Thanks again!

Joe, from one "homestar" to another...Great work! Joe runs a first class operation. The people who owned the house prior to myself had about 4-5 cats. Needless to say there was enough cat hair in my furnace ducts to knit a few sweaters. Joe also took the time to go through with me what exactly he is doing and how it will actually benefit the air quatlity of the home. A little more than I expected! Thanks Joe!
