Andrea is a God Send !!! Not only did she manage to fix a mistake , and provide a service where her competitor failed ...see my other reviews to see who this competitor is , ( since I am not allowed to name them in this review ) but she was also able to fully design and implement said desgin for our little angels nursery . Rooms to Grow is NOT a store, so yes Andrea does operate out of her home via her website , but this does not in any way dimminish the quality of her products nor her OUTSTANDING Customer Service . She is a working mom and entrepeneur , she is a designer and marketer by trade , which puts her a notch above everyone else and gives her a HUGE advantage over her competition . She is able to provide very useful tips , advice and even desgin an entire room to be functional and litterally GROW with your child from newborn , to infancy , right through to toddler and * gasp * the dreaded teenage years . For example , she offered my husband and I tips on how to have the room change in look but not design every time we converted our Tami Crib , so one look is for the Nursey while the crib is still used for a baby , then how to change things up when we move on to converting to a toddler bed , and finally , a look that works for when the crib will now be a double bed . Her advice is invaluable , her work ethic beyond reproach , her professionalism mixed in with her bubbly personality makes you feel like you are dealing with a friend , like someone who genuinely cares about the end result and your most precious asset , your child . Things only a parent could understand .....unlike her competition located in Richmond Hill , who is a complete disaster . If her service wasn't enough to convince me to recommend her to all my friends and family , then her prices certainly are ! YOU WON'T FIND A BETTER DEAL !!!

I deliberately waited until the Winter and of course Spring was over until posting a review ...although Spring is still here , I have all the confidenc in the world that our basement won't be wet ! We bought a house last June , and as you may all recall , it rained practically every weekend last summer , well after one particular heavy down pour , I noticed a few puddles forming on my floor in my basement . Having known that the previous owner had tried fixing the problem himself , I knew we must have some cracks and thus leaks in our foundation . Called RCC and they showed up quite promptly , gave us an estimation and told us exactly what needed to be done , including drawing a picture of the excavation process . Entire problem was fixed in a few hours on one day . I like that they gaurantee their work for 20 years . The staff was quite knowledgable and friendly . Its a fair chunk of change , but when it comes to your home , THATS an investment and thats a chunk of change . I wanted the job to be done and done right , and as the saying goes " you get what you pay for " . So far I am quite pleased with the workmanship and everything seems to be holding up nicely .....lets see what this summer brings re rainfall and if anything goes wrong I will be sure to post .

First let me state that our ' experience ' started off promising . I emailed and got a response right away from a girl named Laura . She proceeded to book my ' appointment ' , since you have to book before going in and got back to me quite promptly . Once in the showroom , there is not a heck of allot to see so it was easy to narrow down our selection . My husband and I chose the Tami Convertible Crib, the change table , rocker, glider, mattress , Crib rails ( wooden ) and my sister who came with us purchased a 9 peice bedding /nursery set. Because we were purchasing so much , and with us desperatley trying to save money for the baby , my husband inquired if there was a 'deal' if we paid all in cash , like perhaps a break on tax or something . To which Laura replied that there was nothing she could do and that they only way we could pay was with cash , she in fact told us that she did NOT accept Credit Cards and that if we wished to pay by credit card we would have toorder from Online , and that there would be an addittional charge of $20 !! We gave our deposit of $300 and told Laura we would pick up our items the following weekend when we could borrow a friends truck. Came back for pick up and everything in the order was ready EXCEPT the rails . My husband was informed that the rails would be in , in 3 weeks. He was slightly 'put off ' that no one had even bothered to call us and found it a huge inconvience to now have to come all the way back and make a second trip . He deducted the rails from the total price and asked that we be called when the rails were in . No one called . So I called , and called and called , leaving messages for Laura ..or anyone answering the phones to please get back to me and let me know when we could come in and pick up the rails . When no one returned my calls . I emailed ...and emailed and emailed , still all to no avail. After 6 weeks, we decided to simply show up to the showroom . Laura was not there but a woman named Shelly was . Shelly owns a crib shop on the top floor , a totally seperate business ( which we were told was 3 times the cost of The Cribbe Shoppe ) .. totally untrue , we checked it out . While we were in the store Shelly was dealing with 3 other very irate customers , all complaining of the lack of Customer service they were recieving and asking where Laura was and why she does not return phone calls or emails !! I WAS SHOCKED but not surprised . So after spending some time with Shelley , she tells us that she regularly has to ' clean up Laura's mess ' and she does not work for Laura , she merely rents space out at the top of the building and was only trying to help. I felt so sorry for her . I explained to her our situation and she gave me Laura's father's business card , [competitor name removed--Ed] , and suggested I call him . She also informed me about how most people who spent that kind of money get a free change pad or mattress pad and sure enough a friend of mine who went to the Cribbe Shoppe spent $400 less than me , but was given a free pair of booties AND a change pad . My Husband feels as though it was discrimination, that smacks of racism ( he is indian ) . I wanted to keep the faith though so I called Laura's father .... Folks , the apple does not fall far from the tree . He was of no help at all , simply informing me that he would do his best to ensure his daughter would get back to me right away ...that was over a week ago !! DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR AND SHOP ELSEWHERE !! You work hard for your money , you deserve the best service you can get ....heck , at least a return phone call or follow up call . The Cribbe Shoppe is not the only place to shop or find good deal . Trust me !!! I am currently dealing with [competitor name removed--Ed] and will post a review once done . I would even recommend [competitor name removed--Ed] upstairs , just based on how friendly she was and at her selection of inventory .

Elisa is correct We do not offer "Cash tax breaks" We do not operate this way. We accept all major credit cards when making purchases through our website. We apologize if we may not have returned Elisa's phone call in a timely fashion but we always email and inform all of our customers as soon as something is in stock and they are more than welcome to pickup at any time.
We may not have offered Elisa a free gift at the time of her purchase simply because we may not have had any promotions going on in that specific month. Our coupons (free gifts) change on a monthly basis depending on availability.
Nevertheless we most definitely would have provided Elisa with the same gift or something similar to what we gave her friend if she would have Asked us.

We do our best to provide lowest pricing and fast pickup & delivery options as well as friendly customer service. We have a wonderful history with many happy customers :)

Once again GH has proven why they have me as a life long and loyal customer . I had purchased some furniture in the summer ( and wrote a review here on HS ) and had noticed that some of the feathers in my couch and chaise started protruding . One phone call to Mark and he immediately , and I mean immediately sent someone over to take measurements and then re stuff and re line all the cushions . Problem solved . NO charge . Hassle free and friendly , thats exactly the GH Johnson style. One would expect no less from them . Thanks Mark and thanks again GH . YOU GUYS ARE AMAZING !!!! See you soon for some new office furniture : )

4 of my best friends have all used GH Johnson and were thrilled with their experience, so naturally when it came time for me to buy a new sectional , GH is where I went . Like any major purchase I did my research and checked competitor's prices ..during said research it lead me here to this site , and I was quite taken aback after reading some of the reviews. But if you can't trust your best friends then who can you trust ?! LOL ! So my husband & I took the plunge . We were greeted by a very freindly , extremly knowledgable Sales Manager named Kennedy. He was fabulous ! Giving us great advice and taking his time to ensure that we saw every possible solution to our Sofa needs and when he could not provide us with a chair that we fell inlove with in the " as is " section , he came up with a brilliant alternative and made sure that it matched our sofa perfectly . Kennedy displayed endless patience in answering all of our questions , even all the times that I called back with one inquiry or another . When our sofa came , we unfortunatly were not home so my General Contractor had instructed them to leave everything in the front hallway ...NOT assembeled and WITH the wrapping still on . Not a problem for GH Johnson , one phone call and Matt Johnson had his people come back immediately and unwrap, move the couch and put it together . YOU can NOT beat GH Johnson for their price's ...and they lack NOTHING when it comes to Customer Service . Our delivery was on time and there were no problems at all and as far as the quality is concerned ...well lets just say that my husbands favourite room in the house is no longer " The man's den " , its the living room where all the new GH Johnson furniture is !!!
