Gold Standard painters did TERRIBLE job. I paid them to fix a ceiling. After they finished I found my ceiling uneven and looks terrible. I asked the fix it but their response was this is all we can do and I should pay another $150 if I want it fixed. Stay away from Gold Standard, they are going to do terrible job and squeeze more money from you to fix it (maybe).

I just took a look at the account and there seems to be a bit of miscommunication. I educate all of our staff that we are not in this business for the quick buck. I would rather keep you as a customer for the next 10 years than leaving you unhappy with the service.
Yuriy, please understand whenever we do any painting or renovation type of work, everything has very thin margins. That is why we go into great detail to write everything on paper. According to my records, our representatives relayed the message to you that if we simply paint over that part of the ceiling, it will look uneven and we recommended it to get patched up. You told the sales agent that you would not want to pay the extra money for it and to simply go ahead with the paint. At the end of the job you were not happy how it looked and asked them to do the patch. Yuriy, please understand we cannot go into our pocket for something that we brought up in the first place. Its for that reason why we make sure to write what scope of service is included. If a simple paint job was ordered, any extra patching has to be for an additional fee since we need to pay for material and our labour. I would be happy to resolve this situation with you, but we need to be reasonable on both ends. Asking us to do work that wasn't included in the first place is simply not fair.
