This was a medium/large scale project (city sized lot), designed to bring maximal utility, beauty, enjoyment and serenity to my outdoor space. Not only am I THRILLED with the outcome – the joy experienced at its development is embedded in the structure itself. Truly. It hums…It really does. Ritter and Smith (Robert, Roald - Alvaro too) are Consummate Craftsmen. Working together with them was this designer’s dream. I felt immediately confident and comfortable in their hands. With their experience and energy, professionalism and personal approach. They are committed to delivering quality, excellence – to solid, exquisite construction - that makes sense. Each member of the team has an eye for design/detail that is keen and critical. Not seen with standard trades people. They share an artisanal reverence for the materials they work with, have solid, technical expertise, and they afforded me a refreshing brand of patience and practical consideration across the arc of the process. It was good. There was integrity. Care. Humour. We shared ideas. I changed my mind. We kept it moving and we had fun! The result was an end product that feels alive, inspired and elegant, in harmony with the environment it occupies, and as much a pleasure to look at as it is to BE in and interact with. Beautiful. Thoughtful. Strong. Because of my experience on this past project, I will work with Ritter and Smith on ALL future projects for my home – outside and in. The quality of the work and the quality of the relationship are one and the same. What a concept and what a relief. What’s next includes an inviting, protective, front entrance structure that echoes the structure and attitude of the back - and then my kitchen and wet room. Putting imagination and integrity together revealed a beautiful surprise just waiting to happen. I highly recommend this crew. With heartfelt thanks, Penny Euclid Ave. Toronto, ON Project – 14’ x 24’ floating deck / pergola structure / fencing / planter box privacy wall Materials – White Cedar / reclaimed Douglas Fir / pressure-treated lumber / custom fabricated powder coated steel.

Mallion Alluminum was one of 3 companies I contacted - and they were, by far, the most personable and professional... From initial contact through to completion, Petar was attentive, professional and committed. He returned my call personally, arranged a time to review the project within just two days of contact and he provided his quote later that same evening. While the quote was competitive - it was the sense of his commitment to deliver a quality experience that made me choose to work with them. He even came back a second time to ensure the colour choice was the correct one. He is very busy and well organized. His team is responsive and hard working. My Victorian row house, and my desire to relocate the downspouts at the front and back of the house presented challenges that other companies did not want to deal with. Petar and his team tackled my interests efficiently and with confidence. I would recommend Mallion Alluminum to anyone. They were a pleasure to work with. Thank you for your efforts guys! My house looks great! Penny
