We hired Ontario Paving to remove and replace our asphalt driveway. The price was fair and the work was excellent. The crew was efficient, professional, friendly and tidy. We would have rated this company a perfect score if not for a couple of miscommunication problems that should be remedied easily. The time between removal and return to replace the asphalt was originally quoted at 2 to 3 weeks. At the end of week 3, I contacted the company to find out an estimated date for the asphalt to be laid down. I was told it would be at least 2 more weeks. I questioned it, but did not complain. The crew arrived a few days later so that turned out fine. On the morning that the crew were scheduled to arrive, I asked what time we could expect them so we could be here. We were told that we didnt need to be here. I questioned if the crew would need my hose (which is locked in the garage). Oh yes they would need that. I pulled a backyard hose up to the front and left the water on. We left the house. While we were out, the crew needed my garage door opened so the steamroller could roll over the asphalt where it meets the garage floor. Luckily, we were on our way home and they only had to wait 5 minutes. Apart from those simple issues, this job was very well done. Time will be the test as to the quality of the asphalt. We are satisfied. The stone edging and stairs were done by a private contractor.

John we are sorry for the delay but the heat wave we had put us behind schedule, our guys stopped working everyday at 2pm. We can't afford our men to get heat stroke. As you know there was severe heat warnings. We appreciate your patience and more importantly you are overall happy with our work.

We have a small hot water tank in our house. It rusted out 2 years ago and had to be replaced. The new tank was an updated version of the old one. Due to space limitations in our utility room the installation was difficult and 20 months later we were having problems with the new tank. Several technicians came to our home but the problem kept occurring. After several visits Matt determined that it wasnt a bad thermocouple or a bad gas sensor but an issue with venting. The carbon monoxide detector readings were unsafe and Matt shut our water heater down. Uh oh...no hot water. Matt called Jason Rowe who showed up within a couple of hours and checked our utility room out for the suitability of a tankless water heater installation. It was found to be suitable and the only viable option for our home. Jason called an order in and the next available install date was 9 days away. Not long to wait but very long to wait with no hot water in our home. Jason was sympathetic and explained that hed do whatever it took to move the install date ahead as much as possible. We got an email less than 24hrs later and our install date moved from 9 days away to 2 days. Thank you Jason! Please pass along our heartfelt appreciation along to whomever had a part in getting us looked after quickly. Jason explained that he had help from individuals working on their days off to help us out. That is going above and beyond and is sadly lacking in business these days. Obviously not the case with Jason Rowe and his team at Reliance. Kudos to you Jason. Thanks to Matt for finding the isdue with our tank and for shutting it down to keep our family safe. Our family thanks Matt, Jason Rowe and everyone else at Reliance for treating us like youd want your family to be treated. Brilliant customer service! John and Lisa Hamilton ON
