When our house needed reroofing we were faced with a number of options. They ranged from 20 year shingles which actually last about 6 years to copper and tile roofs. As part of larger renovation, we decided to have all of the windows in our house replaced. We wanted top quality windows that were energy efficient, attractive and could be easily cleaned from inside the house. We carried out a thorough review and decided to purchase Rehau windows from Passive House Windows. We have lived in our house for almost a year and are very happy with the windows and are very happy with the service receive from Reiner of Passive House Windows. We have purchased about 30 windows and all of the windows have fit very well. We were also impressed by Reiner's attention to detail to have the windows correctly and professionally installed. A couple of the windows needed revision after installation and this was very well handled by Reiner also. In summary, we would recommend the Rehau windows and Passive House Windows.

We have carried out an extensive update and renovation of our full home. Our home was originally built in 1920 and we wanted if fully updated structurally and functionally as well as making it as energy efficient and green as possible. This extensive renovation involved many different technologies, materials, timetables, priorities and personalities. We contracted with Reiner to advise us on every stage of this process. Reiner helped us to plan the project, choose the contractors, negotiate with the contractors and establish the timelines. Reiner attended all of the site meetings and was very helpful in keeping the project on schedule. We particularly appreciated that Reiner carried out his regular inspections of many facets of the work and was diligent in double checking that the work was carried out to a very high standard. He followed up to the contractors and tradesmen directly to ensure each aspect was of the renovation was performed correctly. We wanted our home to be fully updated and energy efficient. Reiner was helpful in the choice of various technologies such as in floor heating, energy recovery ventilators, full home insulation, types of roofing, basement lowering etc. Reiner was able to give us good advice and help us to coordinate these technologies into our project. Inevitably some difficulties occurred during the renovation. Reiner was always responsive and generally was very quick to asses the situation, recommend a solution and monitor the correction. We appreciate Reiner's quick and thorough responses. We have been in our renovated house for nearly a year and are very happy with the results. A major renovation is a stressful difficult endeavour but Reiner's advice has helped to make the process less difficult and more successful.

We have had a major renovation planned, including lowering our basement, adding an addition and completely gutting the rest of the house. We added entirely new plumbing and electric service and changed the layout of the house. We also greatly upgraded the structure of the house and added significant insulation and a new roof. Angel Stipo and Ontario Villa were recommended to us but we still went through the exercise of evaluating a number of contractors. During the evaluation process, Angel was always very helpful and polite and consistent in his explanations of his quotations and his ideas. The quotations were very detailed and helpful. My wife and I occasionally became concerned about some aspects of the renovation process. Angel likened the process to a roller coaster ride with several ups and several downs. Angel was able to remain calm during all phases of the project and worked to keep the project on schedule even when some aspects outside of his control pushed us behind. Angel was particularly skilled at dealing with the many tradespeople who occasionally tried to delay the schedule or make other changes. We are now living in our fully renovated home and greatly enjoy it. The house has needed very few further repairs but when it has Angel and his group have been very quick and thorough in making the situation right. My wife and I would highly recommend Angel Stipo and Ontario Villa and would use him again for renovation work.

We have been very happy with the garage door we have purchased from Dodds. Dodds were recommended to us by neighbours and we will recommend Dodds also. We spoke originally to Alan, the sales manager and then met with Antony the sales rep. The door is of top quality and has been professionally installed with no mess. We have had the door for two months and continue to be very satisfied!

Tip Top Trough has been a pleasure to deal with. Pierce was prompt with his estimate and follow ups and the installers were very professional and efficient. We have now seen the eavestroughs at work through two rainstorms and are fully satisfied.
