Painting it all at once wasn't doable for us, so Matt and his crew worked with us and our schedule to complete the job over a less stressful period of 5 months. The Gutter Patrol was an absolutely refreshing business to deal with. I found them right here on Home Stars, and based on reviews, gave them a call to fix a downspout problem. Moe returned my email promptly and gave me a quote in Cochrane based on photos I sent. He is very friendly and his prices are fair. He showed up and and was very knowledgeable and efficient getting the job done and assured me that our satisfaction about his work was most important to him. I wish more businesses were this pleasant to deal with. Thank you so much Moe!

This is a very busy company. It took a couple of weeks, but he came all the way to Cochrane and quickly determined we needed a new faucet. Andy recommended other companies to come and do the install, but I liked dealing with Ducky's so much, that I didn't want to call anyone else. Unfortunately, when the faucet arrived, I was told it would be another 2 weeks, and possibly longer as they were busy & expecting a new little one. Congratulations!

I gave this company a call to install a new kitchen faucet. They were able to fit me in within one week. They were professional to deal with on the phone, and Jason (the owner) was punctual, professional and enjoyable to talk with. It's obvious that his customers are important to him. His van is adorable! Love the little red-headed guy. (On the van, haha) Thanks Jason, I'm sure we'll be needing you again!

I hired this company because they're vans, kilts and reputation piqued my interest, and I read a few good reviews. I've had my windows done by Castle a few times, which was a disaster! So, I thought I'd take a chance and have my outside windows done in October, so I could see out of them this winter! A young man in a kilt showed up, Ahoop or Anoop (couldn't make out his name on the bill...sorry) and was extremely polite and professional. He went to work right away. My windows are the best they've ever been, and he did a beautiful job of the sills as well. I couldn't be happier with the service, results or price. I will hire this company again in the future. As a consumer, it's really wonderful to find companies who offer such great service with integrity, a rare thing nowadays. Good job you guys....and you're kilts are quite adorable!

The owner is a nice fellow, however he works so fast (because time is money) that I found he missed large areas that were completely untouched and the carpet felt somewhat "crunchy" after it dried, which it should not if the soap has been correctly removed. He was working on a hallway which was fairly dark, and I said "Oh, here, let me turn on the lights so you can see the carpet." and he said that he didn't need the light to see what he was doing. What?? He simply works too fast to do the job well. I don't recommend him.

We've bought rocks and bark mulch from this company in the past and thought we'd look to them to do some landscaping in our back yard. BIG mistake. Communication with their office in simply trying to get a quote took weeks, with us constantly having to call them back to remind them that we were waiting for a quote. When they finally set a date for the job, nobody showed up, and they didn't call. Once the guys did come out, they didn't even bother to knock on the door to let us know they were here. They got the work done (which turned out well), but didn't communicate with us at all. There was a huge pile of dirt that needed to be removed from our back yard and they said they'd come back to get it another day, but even after 2 or 3 calls, they just ignored us. Terrible, terrible customer service! We don't recommend these guys. Very frustrating to deal with.

Jason and his team offer great service in our town. Their knowledgable and very helpful for those of us who are "colour-wheel challenged." I appreciate knowing that I can go into the store with any project and get helpful and professional advice that works out every time.

Jeff down at Cochrane Vacuum is really the BEST! He offers a wonderful mix of big city knowledge with small town care, service and honesty. He sells vacuums, supplies bags and replacement parts that wear out, like brushes and such, and does repair service as well as new installs for central vac. He really knows his stuff and I've never received the 'hard-sell' from him or pressure. He goes the extra mile to help you out and always has fair pricing. Over the years, our family has purchased a central vac (complete with plumbing install) and portable vac from him and they've been great machines. Mom and Pop shops have almost entirely gone out of style, and I hope we have Jeff in town for many years yet.

What a difference between having Keith come and clean our furnace/ducts and the typical fly-by-night companies that litter our phone books! Keith was professional, knowledgable, thorough, friendly and on time. It took him a solid 3 hours to do our job and other than the furniture we had to move for him, you'd never know he was here because he left everything the way he found it, but of course, better because it was clean! Thanks Keith, see you next time.
