Ordered plantation shutters in solid wood with a frame. Found the best price with DC Shutters. Saw great reviews on Homestars when I started doing research. Got a call back within 24 hours and in-home estimate the next day on a Sunday. Custom order was fulfilled within 3 weeks - very painless process. Allan accommodated by placing our dividers where we wanted them to line up with the natural dividers of our windows and/or strategically placed for privacy. We ordered 3 sets of shutters for 3 large windows. They look fantastic and we would not hesitate to recommend DC Shutters. We plan to slowly do this for our entire house.

We are very happy with C-Star Roofing, Sing and his team! I found out about this company through referral (a few neighbourhood friends used them and were happy with the service). Initially, we just wanted a few shingles replaced, but they gave a good estimate to re-do our roof so we opted to do this instead. We had tight deadline and despite their packed schedule and rain to contend with, they still managed to squeeze us in. They arrived on the date they said they would and came on time and worked until early evening, completing the job in 1 day. We have a 2800 sqft house with 2 stories. Sing and his team also were able to change our downspout to correctly route eavesdrough water off of our secondary roof and down the downspout. They also prepped the area by removing all our items off our patio/driveway, tarped, cleaned up, used a magnetic tool to pick up metal debris on the lawn, patio and driveway as well as a vacuum. They returned our items back to our patio after they were done. Our roof looks great! We got the asphalt shingles that look like cedar ones with the layering. The final cost was exactly what amount we were quoted in the estimate. We would not hesitate to recommend them and will be using them again for our cottage roof as they service a wide area.
