We just moved into our brand new house, so naturally we needed to get some window coverings, so as not to flash the neighbours from our bedroom. We had two companies come in including Save On Blinds, the irony is that they were both promoting the same blinds manufacturer (Graber) and the same discount of MSRP (40%) ultimately however we really liked Adrian from Save On Blinds, he was friendly and knowledgeable and had some good suggestions for the product that would be best for us. He gave us a quote for both shutter blinds and blackout blinds in our bonus room, since it was the same as the other company, we went online to see what prices we could get there for the same product. As the online sites were cheaper we sent Adrian a screen shot of the quotes, and he consequently reduced their price by a fair bit. They didn't quite match it, which is fair enough since it isn't really apples to apples. Nonetheless we ended up getting in excess of 60% off the MSRP price. Once we had decided to go with Save On Blinds it was all very easy, we filled out the paperwork via e-mail and about 2 weeks later we had our blinds installed by a very competent installer, who definitely knew the product and made sure it was all working as it should. All in all we would definitely recommend Save on Blinds and Adrian, for his great service and friendly disposition.

My stove decided to set itself on fire after 10 years in service, so I needed to purchase a new one rather swiftly. I called every store in the area that carries appliances, but ultimately no one carried them in stock, so I would have had to wait a week to get a stove. Naturally I didn't feel like living of toast for that period, so I was truly happy to discover that Lowe's as a rule carries most of their appliances in stock. They had a good sale going on, and I was able to get a new stove at a price that was significantly better than Trail Appliances, and cheaper than Home Depot et al. At the time they had a van available to rent, and they helped me load the stove into it so that I could take it home. On a separate occasion I needed to buy a new fridge as my old one was slowly dripping and destroying the floor. Once again Lowe's had it in stock. However, it seems they had gotten rid of their van and only had a truck available to rent. Unfortunately they had managed to lock the key inside it, and no one seemed to know where the spare key was. I had called to check if the truck was available and had been told yes. So it was extremely frustrating to have to spend over an hour waiting for a locksmith so that I could get my fridge home.

We've used ChemDry a few times now, three times for carpet cleaning, and also to clean our big sectional couch. Every single time they have done a great job, accommodating our busy schedule as well our dogs. Their customer service centre is knowledgeable and helpful, whilst the technicians as a rule know what they are talking about, and will talk you through what needs to be done. Ultimately the best part is that their process is chemical free (despite the name) and dries exceptionally fast, compared to a normal steam clean. This means the dogs can run around on the carpet almost immediately afterwards, and we don't need to worry about them getting sick. The price is potentially higher than just a steam clean, but their process actually eliminates the pet odours so that the accidents don't repeat themselves. So in the end you don't have to clean the carpet as often.
