I contacted Midtown plumbing via their email from the website and there was a prompt reply by Andrew. We set up a time and date for a small job at our home and he acknowledged the appointment via text. Andrew showed up exactly on time and did a great job to install a new toilet and fix a broken tap. He even taught me some plumbing tips along the way and is very open to sharing his knowledge and answering any questions. He also was concerned that if there were any leaks, to let him know and he would come back and fix them, but there were no leaks as he did the job right the first time.

We found this company in Homestars due to their great rating, and they did not disappoint. Oleg came to our home when he said he would, he reviewed our needs for a new furnace and upgraded A/C and he clearly answered all our many questions. At no time did we feel we were pressured or oversold anything we didn't want or need. We felt very comfortable dealing with Oleg, and his team did a great job installing a new furnace with a tight fitting humidifier and a larger A/C unit. In addition, Oleg's office filled out all the paperwork for any rebates we were entitled too and they came through as promised. Looking forward to dealing with Oleg and his team for our future HVAC needs.

I needed both duct and grout cleaning and i found this company on Homestars. Alec was very responsive to my emails and he was very clear about the total costs with no surprises. Alec also advised that they would like to do the two jobs over two days so neither job would be rushed. Alec did exactly what he said he would do and he and his team were very professional in the way they managed their equipment so as not to damage any of our walls or furniture. Would definitely recommend this company for either of these services. My 18yr old kitchen floor grout now looks like it was just installed and i have already had a compliment on it.

We lost quite a few sheets of shingles in the major windstorm a week back. We had big open wooden patches and missing roof vents. I contacted a number of companies who never returned my calls and Intact Roofing answered my call the first time. They arranged to send their crew out the next day and, in addition, called me in the morning to confirm. They really gave me confidence that they were extremely professional and sure enough, they didn't let us down and they did a great job patching the missing areas and securing new vents. i will be calling them later this summer to get a quote for the entire roof, no hesitation recommending this company.

We found this company on Homestars and after a few quotes, we went with Unique Custom Moldings because we liked the time that Richard took to explain how he would do the job and in particular, finish off some unique areas in the kitchen and in the hallway. Richard came exactly when he said he would for the quote and the job, and did exactly what he promised in the time he said he would need. He also accommodated a couple of unique requests, including adding some more rooms to the job, without any opposition or concern for his time set aside to complete the job. When the job was underway, there were a few minor options to iron out on part of the wainscoting design and Richard took the time to show us the options and we never felt rushed to make a decision and ultimately we were very pleased with the final outcome of the job which is what I believe Richard really wants, a happy customer from a job well done.

Placed an order for a sofa and two leather chairs from Decorium in August. They contacted me when both items were in and arrange delivery which was convenient to me. Renata was the salesperson & we communicated back & forward via email because what I wanted to order was a bit complicated. They could have given up on me and simply ignored my requests but they didn't, the always replied promptly. When the pieces arrived, I told Renata that the sofa had a problem and surprisingly, their service dept. then contacted me, not me having to chase them. They selected a service repair person that could fix an unusual issue and the service call was fast and fixed the problem in my home. I have already recommended them to a friend.

Bill was great to deal with, very friendly and easy going. I had a older home i was selling and it needed many and various upgrades (i.e. trim repairs, painting, wall & ceiling repairs, lighting & door hardware upgrades, etc.). He came to the home to give me an estimate, which was very reasonable considering the quality of the work that was done. Bill showed up when he said he would (or called if he had to reschedule) and did the exact agreed upon work. The house needed lots of refreshning and he pointed out some stuff i had not even noticed but would be noticed by any buyers. I am next considering having my kitchen upgraded and will definitely contact this company for an estimate.

This is an etobicoke based company. It is a small local business with a focus on customer service and delivering what you contract them to do. They are very flexible to small jobs and reliably came each week to do nice even grass cutting.

This co. was brought into a sewer back up claim by the plumbing company. They were only going to dry the carpet out but turned out to be full sewer back up claim. Bill the owner was easy to deal with and worked with us and the insurance co. to complete the claim. He was always available on the phone and the replacement carpet samples he provided were exactly as requested. The different repair personel did the repairs quickly and we were quite happy with the final work.

Found Viktoria movers in HS site and used them for a small move to an apartment. Ray was very quick to respond to my email and phone call and they delivered exactly what they said they would at a very competive price. Love their green plastic bins (no more boxes to find and dispose of). They came on time and accomodated a time schedule at the move in location. Would definitely use them again.

Found Capitol cleaners on Home Stars, tried them out. Quick service, came on weekends when I wanted and not when they were available like other providers - even for a relatively small job as I had done. They also called to confirm a few days prior (reminder which was good). Did the service as I requested and at the quoted price. Will use them again for sure. I wished other companies operated this way.
