I finally found an electrician! Mark is such a pleasure to deal with. I had an exterior electrical line that I needed to have investigated and potentially removed. He came early on Sat am and found that it was defunct and could be removed. He not only accommodated me on short notice but went not to say that he "always wants to take care of his customers". Having dealt we many trades people because I live in an older home, I have to tell you that he is an exceptional commodity. A wonderful man that truly wants to help. I finally found my electrician!

Paul and his company are the real deal! Genuinely honest, polite and knowledgeable...no deception involved. He not only helped me solve a duct problem created by another company, but also notice that my water tank's gas exhaust pipe had cracked. I hate to think of the consequences if that had gone unnoticed for too long. For that alone, I am eternally grateful...he has truly secured my gratitude and loyalty. Without a doubt, a wonderful company run by an equally wonderful guy.

I needed to paint the exterior windows and door frames of my house - I was looking for a quality job at a reasonable price...needless to say I found that and more with WOW 1 DAY PAINTING. I have been wanting to convert my old wood burning fireplace to gas logs ever since I moved into my house 5 years ago. I just hadn't found the right company. I do a lot of research before embarking on any home projects. Having been disappointed with previous companies, I lucked into finding Imran. He is a utmost professional who really knows his stuff. I used Rusco to replace the windows in my sunroom. I was very impressed with them overall. I found the company to be well-organized, thorough and very trustworthy. Israel provided me with a quote, but was not pushy in the least. Gerry was a true gem who treated me and my home with respect. The carpenter ?Brian was equally amazing. The was an unexpected bump during the installation that required replacement of the framing. Although the cost was more than originally anticipated, I did not feel that I was being "scammed". I would highly recommend Israel and his whole team.

The toilets in my home were leaking. Based on the reviews from Homestars, I called Drainworks. The plumber that came to my home suggested that they all needed to be replaced - that fixing them would not be a good solution longterm. I went along with his suggestion, not really knowing any better. The cost was quite sustantial - over $300 for each toilet. Furthermore, as he was fixing them, he tired to add on more cost by telling me that now the supply valve needed to be changed and he could not warranty the service if there was to be a leak. He told me that I leak could be so severe that it could damage my downstairs ceiling. I felt that he was just trying to get more money from me. Needless to say, after such an expensive repair job, I will not be using their service again.

I found Otto's Masonry on Homestars and was very impressed by the reviews. I am happy to report that they were right! I contacted Otto for help to lower my mantel so that we can put the TV above the fireplace. Dealing with Otto and his staff was a pleasure. Not only did Otto give me a reasonable quote, but his manner was wonderful. He is a polite gentleman and explained things to my satisfaction. Tony, his office manager, was prompt and always responded to my emails in a timely manner. Eckhart did a fantastic job with the brick work. In fact, it was better than I had even anticipated. There was no mess left afterwards either! I can honestly say that I would highly recommend Otto and plan to use him again in the future.
