For the first time in 42 years of residing in our home, 5 of our 7 second storey windows began leaking. much to our dismay. Prior to this incident, a neighbour had recommended JJAK and given us phone number for Ken. After phoning Ken, both he and Kim promptly visited our home and determined that the source of our problem was snow covered roof vents, soffit vents that were blocked with insulation,as well as warm air seeping into the attic, which resulted in ice forming. Within a few days, Kim, Ken and another fellow, replaced and installed additional vents, installed 7' baffles, added insulation, along with many other preventive measures. We are very pleased with the promptness, cleanliness and professionalism of JJAK and we are optimistic and hopeful that the leaking problem has been resolved, should future winters be as snowy and cold, as this past winter.

We highly recommend Plumber M.D. for repiping a home, even a 2-storey with 4 bathrooms and a finished basement. We called Plumber M.D., who had previously replaced a kitchen sink drainage line that had been poorly installed by another plumber. Within a couple hours of discovering a waterfall from the light fixture in our laundry room, Ryan had water running from the faucets (not the ceiling). This was the second time the Poly B lines had leaked, so we realized that the Poly B had to be replaced with PEX. Morley, provided an estimate within a couple days and 2 weeks later the new PEX lines were installed by Morley, Ryan and James. The work took much longer than anticipated, as Morley was tenacious about minimizing the holes in our drywall. Even so, Morley honoured his initial estimate, prompting us to pay him more than the invoiced amount. At our request, they provided the name of a dry waller for making the drywall repairs. While we would have preferred to avoid the repiping, this experience was less onerous and disruptive than initially anticipated, due to the integrity, competence, dependability and tidiness of Plumber M.D.
