Jean-Pierre was an absolute delight to have refinish our hardwood and create a new, beautiful staircase and landing for us. He is a complete perfectionist, and wasn't happy until everything was perfect. I would consider him a true artisan. Unlike the other hardwood companies we received quotes from, Jean-Pierre truly cared about the products he used on the floor - ensuring that it would last 30+ years. He created a custom stain for us, selected the best hardwood he could find in the lumbar yards, and even went so far as to tear down our existing staircase so that he could build a new one properly. His quotes were comparable to the larger companies, however with Jean-Pierre, we knew that we were getting someone with many years of experience rather than a series of contracted labourers using cheaper, less durable stains. I would not hesitate to recommend Jean-Pierre to anyone looking for gorgeous, site-finished hardwood installations or refinishing. I'd especially recommend you let him express his creativity with his unique designs and inlays.
