Sipkens has become our favourite nursery for quality of plants, price and their customer service. We have had several trees planted at our new home by Sipkens and we have never had a long wait. Last year we had questions about one of the new trees they planted for us, and they sent someone over the very next day to look at it for us. This spring, our Norway Spruce didn't survive the cold winter, so I sent an email along with pictures to Brian Sipken, that he responded to the same day, letting me know that he would replace it FREE of charge and had set one aside for us. As long as you have your receipt, they will replace any trees, perennials, etc. that die within the first 2 years of buying. As well, all their greenhouse and gift shop personnel are friendly and knowledgeable, and are always happy to help you find what you're looking for as well as answer all your questions.

After moving into our newly built retirement home, we realized how much we wanted to have a storm door installed to let in light & allow air flow in the summer, and to help keep the wind out in the winter. Steve Gelinas came to take the measurements and helped us choose the right door for us. Their prices are very competitive with the big box stores, but the quality of Matheson's door is much better. Within 2 weeks our new door was ordered, and installed. They also had to build up and capped our door frame on the house for the door to fit, and it looks great. I would highly recommend this company based on price, quality of product and excellent customer service.

We had purchased what we thought was a really good name in large kitchen appliances, but unfortuantely that wasn't the case. Our gas oven, on a few occassions, wouldn't heat up past about 275 degrees. Each time we called W.J. Barnes as they are quick to respond, and have knowledgeable, HONEST technicians that treat their customers great. After about the third time I had to call to have the same part replaced, the technician told me not to put another nickel onto the oven as all of the electrical wires has corroded in my less than 3 year old oven. Not only was I surprised that this big name oven wasn't at all what I expected in an oven of that level, but I was so appreciative of the W.J. Barnes repairman for telling me the truth. It would have just as easy for them to keep coming back to replace parts and making money from me, but they were too honest for that. Actualy, the first time this problem happened our warranty had just expired by 2 weeks, and they were kind enough to back date our receipt so that we didn't have to pay for the parts. They also installed our entire HVAC systems in our home. Their quotes were right in the middle, and we chose to hire them because they provide such great customer service. We recommend them to anyone that asks us if we know who repairs appliances, or installs HVAC. Wonderful company with wonderful people working there.

While our son is out of province working we are watching his house for him. In the spring a squirrel had gotten into the house and had fallen behind the drywall. After a full night and day of trying to trap and catch it ourselves, we called Pest-Away. They came within about 2 hours, and were the only company we called that was willing to come the same day. Within about 2 1/2 hours he had trapped the squirrel, and safely removed it from our son's home. If needed, they will also repair any holes, etc. Fast service, professional, and knowledgeable. Saved our son's wiring, and any other damages that this squirrel could have caused.

We sold our home, after living there for 25 years, and had to the entire contents of our home in storage for 2 months while our house was being built. We hired able Movers to move everything into storage, then once again to move everything from storage into our home. Paul's quotes were right on, with no hidden costs. As well everyone was on time, and the entire move went smoothly, and on time. We would definitely use them again and recommend to our friends and family.en

Pete's Plumbing provided us with prompt, professional Service and Wendy always replied quickly to our enquiries, etc. Although they did provide great service, we did find that their prices for some of their products were double than that sold at the big box stores. We still did purchase their products so that we didn't void our warranty.

Upon moving into our new retirement home, we desperately needed to do some landscaping, and neither my or I are very creative in that area. So, we had DeGroot's come out and draw us up a Landscaping Design Plan. Although Degroots would have happily done the landscaping for us, we decided to peck away at it ourselves, following their plan. So far we have completed our front yard and it looks great and would never have gotten the same results without having a professional plan to follow. Degroots were punctual when arriving for our appointment and Becky was very professional and knowledgeable. She had our plan ready within a week, and we didn't feel any pressure to hire them to do the Landscaping, and were extremely helpful in helping us choose some plants, etc.

We had Sarnia Cabinets build and install all of our kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities, and fireplace mantel when we were building our new home. They do excellent workmanship, but unfortunately they can be very disorganized and don't deliver when they say they will. Hopefully with some new staff that problem will be corrected. They do build beautiful cabinets, and are very fairly priced.

When we built our new retirement home we purchased all of our light fixtures and ceiling fans at Living Lighting. Carrie was extremely helpful in helping us choose our fixtures, and also provided fast service when one of the fixtures needed to be replaced. Excellent Service!

We just moved into our new retirement home and we purchased all our flooring at Custom Floors. They provided us with excellent service, prices and workmanship, and made the experience easy for us.
