good..... installers haytham and joe were awesome. worked well, quick, precise, clean, arrived before scheduled time, and took time to explain operating the unit. not so good.....salesman led me to believe the unit would be boxed and dry walled for me. that was not the case. now I have to find someone to do this extra step for me...didn't realize the extra lights were the lights needed to light stones on bed of unit which were supposed to be yellow gold but look black to me.....verbal is not written. pft. bad......inconsistencies in communication between company employees led to wrong unit being delivered....and that unit was even missing parts. installers had to leave site and go get correct unit. half of the day wasted because of this in addition to being inconvenienced that the work area was not ready for me to either paint or apply stonework to finish.

Called Gord from ACADEMIA ROOFING & ATTICS Wednesday morning following the wicked wind that hit Toronto. Told Gord that a huge chunk of shingles were ripped off by the wind leaving behind the wood frame exposed. WITHIN HOURS OF THE INITIAL PHONE CALL, GORD SENT HIS TEAM TO THE HOUSE. The Academia team was in touch with me several times during the job explaining what was needed and giving me several options as well to correct the problem. Gord's team WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND WHAT WAS EXPECTED as the team found other areas that needed attention that I did not see. The ACADEMIA team addressed those weak spots on my roof even though it was not part of our original contract and did NOT CHARGE ME for that EXTRA ATTENTION even though they had to stay longer than expected. THIS WAS SIMPLY JUST THEIR PERSONAL TOUCH. FAST. PROFESSIONAL SERVICE. ATTENTION TO DETAIL. I AM VERY HAPPY THAT I FOUND ACADEMIA AND EXTREMELY SATISFIED WITH THE RESULTS. YOU WILL BE TOO. We needed a fence put up as we just installed a pool. GIL promised our fence would be done by the end of aug 2014, and to call him after 2 weeks of signing contract and putting deposit down. GIL said he would have fence up or at least posts in on aug 15th and 16th and that he would finish job on the monday because he had an emergency on the 24th.....how does someone know a week ahead of an emergency i'm still wondering..... NO ONE SHOWED UP ON ANY OF THOSE DAYS AND NO CALLS WERE MADE TO US FOR THE NO SHOWS. After half a dozen phone calls and text messages by us to Gill and the company there have been no answers, full voice mail boxes, and no attempts by this company to contact us to complete our fencing project. We are now in September with no fence and now there is green algae in our pool....who is going to be responsible for that clean up? Another site has many other reviews of this company and all have the same negative experience. All I have to say is shame on Gill and this company for their unprofessional ways and for leaving people with more questions than answers and less money in their pockets and obviously no fence either...
