We have recently been a victim of credit card fraud, so we do not sign the back of our credit card that way the store clerk will be forced to ask for ID.The clerk did ask for ID and validate us only to decline our transaction and force us to sign our cards.When we refused they declineed our transaction.We tried to plead our case to a supervisior who could not be bothered.We came to purchase a large quantity of items and even provided the ID but they were unwilling to make an exception or even consider a one time allowance.This was not customer service it was customer dis-service.
