We hired another roofer to do the rest of the house and repair the work that was not done to our satisfaction. We had an outbuilding to be re-roofed. The crew showed up, and put the roof on quickly. They did not have enough flashing and had to return. In the meantime, I inspected the work and found that the corners were not even protected (I could see the wood underneath). Someone returned 2 or 3 times to fix various issues and I still unimpressed with the work. The representative seems to have trouble returning phone calls and probably doesn't need anymore business.

We had a chimney removed that meant we had to repair a hole in the roof. We decided to find a contactor to replace the entire roof. Since we had a bad experience with ANOTHER company we looked elsewhere. Desi's came by with a quote quickly and was able to schedule the job quickly (due to the hole). We had a minor change in the work during the job and they made the change with little effort and additional cost (we had an additional vent installed). I am very happy with the experience and the work done.

The quality of the work and the professionalism of the crews was top notch. I have no worries the work will ever leak. We had a large foundation "hole" and had searched for a number of contractors to fix the work. We sought out G J MacRae because they were on Holmes on Holmes and we had little experience with this sort of work. I will admit that getting a hold of the rep was difficult and it did take about 2 weeks before I had someone come out and visit, but the office personnel were courteous and helpful. They work on the job until complete and never left to do other jobs. I highly recommend the company.
