The lock was in fact broken and Roman contacted me to inform me of the issue and we agreed on the replacement of the lock. Keys were provided in multiples as requested. Concrete stairs to a basement apartment were crumbling and becoming a hazard. I hired SVD based on both their prompt response and reasonable price. Their assessment showed that the original structure of the steps was faulty and that repairing breaks and cracks would be a short term solution. Of all the appliance repair services I contacted, I-Fix Appliance Repair was the only team that serviced my area and Samsung and LG appliances. David was quick to commit to an appointment and was very straightforward about fees, which included an $85 consult that would be applied to the cost of a repair if one ensued. He and his colleague visited Sunday morning and were able to diagnose and correct the problem with an 18-month old Samsung dishwasher. I've used the appliance twice since the service call and it's in perfect working order! As they were about to leave I asked them if they serviced LG appliances and they confirmed that they are certified to do so! My LG washer has also been leaking and they confirmed that they appliance was well past the point where it's worth repairing. They did not charge me anything extra for checking the washer! David and his colleague were prompt, professional and proficient. Happily recommend them for any appliance repairs!
