Note to Homestars: How do I remove pictures? I will re-do this review after the work is complete. I had put in the review, and 2 days later they called and said they may be able to finish this week. So I have removed everything that I was going to say and will post it all after it is (hopefully) conpleted. I should have edited my old review a long time ago, because the last time I put it in, they called me the very next day.

Unfortunately, our inability to obtain pats and materials has torn our schedule to pieces.

We took the existing kitchen out when the manufacturer of the new cabinet doors and panels gave us two weeks notice of the order being ready for us.

The afternoon that we completed the removal, we received an email from the manufacturer informing us that “...due to material and worker shortages they are unable to provide a production schedule until further notice.”

As a result, the process ground to frustratingly slow crawl.

While waiting for the back ordered items, we did our best to create a functioning kitchen. Plumbing, exhaust fan, gas hook up and electrical outlets were completed. But, no matter what, we can't install what the manufacturer can't produce.

Mostly good work. I did like the guys from the start. There were some mistakes, but with the passage of time I am becoming more willing to overlook those, given the bigger issues that I have had with other contractors recently. In comparison to the others, these sins are starting to look smaller.

Not sure where all the good reviews are coming from - this is our third year with them (locked into a contract), and we haven't had one good HVAC day yet. Today is the worst day yet, so out of frustration after hanging up the phone with the service guys I write this review (my first ever). From the first day after install, the system never worked well. We have heat turned up to 24, and it's still cold in individual rooms. Temp differences of up to 6 - 7 degrees in some rooms. We had to stop using one bedroom in the winter because it was so cold in there. Other rooms get really hot so we have to close off vents. Of course Reliance said everything was functioning within parameters and nothing is wrong. During the annual maintenance I again voiced my concerns, and again they said nothing is wrong. Today is the hottest day of the year (and a record-breaker). Have had the AC turned to 19 since yesterday, and rooms still register in the 28 range. Last night I had the kids sleep on the floor to get a bit cooler. Reliance won't come today and will wait until tomorrow (after the weather gets cooler so they can again say that everything is fine). Even their thermostat registers 25, and that's never been accurate. I've never been sure where they are measuring - perhaps the basement in the summer and the top floor in the winter. I walk around the house with electronic temp gauges, and every room is in the 28 range. Some higher. Stay away from this company! I should have bought a cheaper furnace from an independent company. Complete waste of money, and even worse we have to suffer thru the heat and cold when it is most needed. If you "rely" on Reliance to keep your HVAC running, be prepared to purchase lots of fans, heaters and mini A/C units for rooms. I follow all maintenance, get ducts cleaned, change filters, etc. And still can't seem to get Reliance's equipment to do the job properly.
