They are expensive. Do not keep you informed of the work they are doing. They misled us. One of the biggest mistakes we ever made. Whenever we have work done on the house now, people always comment on the how the roof dips and collects water. After all the money we spent, we thought we would have a roof that would last a long time.

I'm sorry you feel unsatisfied with the service.
In regards to the ponding issue, we run into these situations occasionally because older roofs tend to naturally sag, or have to do with the structure of the home.
Re-structuring costs can be expensive and where it isn't warranted to do it isn't done. For whatever reason between the salesmen and this customer it was not chosen to do.
Per the contract it says:
Point #10 on your contract indicated " Avenue Road Roofing is not responsible for any waviness, etc in the finish appearance of the new roof as a result of structure e.g. uneven rafters, plywood.etc (unless specifically addressed with carpentry at additional costs to customer". And point
#12 Not to hold Avenue Road Roofing responsible for ponding water on flat roofs (unless you purchased a system which incorporates rebuilding the roof deck with a slope in it or the use of posi slope insulation).

In September this customer contacted our office and indicated the roof was ponding. We went out within 4 days to inspect the job. In addition the customer was requesting another quote for more work. Unfortunately without installing the appropriate system to prevent ponding, ponding will occur.
This roof was installed per the contract and per the standards. It is expected that the roof will last it's full term and should there be any concerns which develope over the years Avenue Road Roofing will remain responsible for corrections necessary within the contract agreement.

We were getting our roof re-done and discovered that the chimney needed to be replaced. We were referred to Doug by the roofing company. Doug was thorough and very knowledgeable. He answered all of our questions about our chiminey and fireplace. His customer service skills made such a lasting impression on us that we hired him and his team again for a much bigger job about 3 yrs later.
