I LOVE this company! I've used Adel and his crew a few times and am always thrilled with their service and level of knowledge. I recently needed to coordinate a thorough post-renovation clean-up of my entire house, and 416 so clean helped me through it from start to finish. Adel answered all of my detailed questions, even outside of the scope of his company, and coordinated his crews to suit our schedule. He and his crews are a pleasure to work with, and I highly recommend them.

Chris and Hayes are fantastic. They are extremely responsive, came right away to look at the job, gave a great quote, got custom windows made in a very short time frame (much faster than other suppliers), did a beautiful job, cleaned up after themselves, and did a bunch more carpentry work while on-site. It was a pleasure working with them, and I will definitely use them again. I highly recommend them. Thanks for a great job!

I am so lucky I found Moe. I got a few quotes for demolition and his was by far the most competitive. In addition to reading Homestars reviews, I also called his references and they all raved about him. He was completely reliable, professional, friendly and accommodating. He was more than happy to help out with other work that was outside of the scope, such as concrete cutting and soil removal. He took care of everything, with attention to detail. He and his crew worked really hard, and were very friendly and respectful of my property. He is one of the nicest people I have dealt with. I highly recommend him.

Slava and his team were a dream to work with. I got a couple of quotes, and his was the most reasonable, he was able to quote immediately, he was available to start on short notice, and promised to finish the job in a shorter time frame than anyone else. He also showed me his beautiful work at another job site. Everything was done as promised, but even faster than he anticipated. His crew worked over a weekend to ensure they stayed on schedule. They also did additional concrete removal that my demolition crew weren't sure how to handle. They kept everything clean and were extremely professional. Slava is extremely responsive. I am so grateful for their hard work, and I would use them again without hesitation.

Working with Alpine was a wonderful experience in every way. Mimi came recommended by my contractor. He came out very promptly to quote, and gave by far the most competitive quote compared to a few other companies. His crew worked quickly and efficiently and cleaned up beautifully when the work was done. They were very friendly and courteous to my neighbours - my neighbour was so pleased she even brought them beverages! Mimi took the time to answer all of my questions. I asked him to look at another property, and he was very honest and told me I didn't need to service it. It was an absolute pleasure, and I would gladly work with Alpine again.

Warren and his team were a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. Warren came out immediately to look at the work, was extremely professional and polite, and he took the time to explain the removal process in great detail. He also gave me the most competitive quote, compared to 3 other companies. He found other problem areas that nobody else had found, and was able to book the work for the same week. During the work, he found even more asbestos to remove which was previously hidden, which he took care of at no additional charge. He even sent me photos of the ongoing work. I love Elie!! I've been having problems with my toilet for months, and nobody could figure out the problem. Before he came, he analyzed the situation thoroughly, recommended that I start fresh with a fool proof toilet, explained exactly what I needed and why, even pointed me to a Lowe's sale to save me money, then came and met me the next day to do the work. He immediately identified the source of the problem, kept the workspace clean, was professional, prompt, responsive and fixed my problem. What more could I ask for?

Tony is absolutely amazing!! I gutted a house and rebuilt everything inside. Tony and his guys took care of demolition, insulation, framing, drywall, hardwood flooring, tiling, new kitchens, some HVAC work, doors, landscaping and so much more. He's also done electrical, plumbing and painting on other projects for me. He is meticulous, efficient, creative, honest and reasonable. He always makes sure the client is happy, and always goes above and beyond. You would be lucky to hire him. I highly highly recommend him and couldn't imagine doing a project without him.

I needed a quick solution for cooling down the 3rd floor of a house. I called many HVAC companies and Marnie and Sandi were the only ones that met all of these criteria: were courteous on the phone, were knowledgeable, took the time to come up with a solution, answer all of my questions and book a free consultation right away (another company wanted $100 just to show up). Marnie was amazing. She came right away during the heat wave despite her busy schedule, and did a thorough inspection. She and her installer determined that the space wasn't configured properly for a new ductless system that she was hoping for, so rather than take my money for something that wouldn't be ideal, or push me into something more expensive, she recommended I get portable AC units which ended up solving my problem. I am incredibly impressed with her integrity, knowledge and responsiveness and I would use them in a heartbeat for any HVAC work.

I highly recommend Greg and his team. He quoted the project right away, came in lower than all my other quotes and were available on short notice. Many other companies said they would need to erect scaffolding, but Greg's team effortlessly and safely did all the work with ladders. They were completely reliable, friendly, professional, and clean. I will be happy to use them again. Thanks for a great job!

I am very pleased with Gus' service. I called several companies, and Gus was the first, and one of the only companies to get back to me. His price is very reasonable, and he is very diligent with his service. He always sends an email with photos after clearing the snow, and always comes when clearing is needed. I had a lot of complicated considerations with my property, and he was extremely patient and didn't give up until he found a solution. I would happily recommend his services.

Elie was amazing. He came on a Saturday night as soon as I called and did an emergency repair on two pierced pipes. It was a very challenging repair and he was very creative and professional in fixing it. He gave me a lot of extra advice and really took his time explaining everything to me. He was very thorough and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend him, and will definitely use him again.

10 out of 10 doesn't do Larry justice! He and his crew were beyond amazing. One of his references refered to him as a "fishing genius" and that's truly what he is. There is nothing that he can't do, and not only that, he does everything with as little disruption as possible and always with a smile. He points out all the pros and cons of every decision. He is creative, precise, thorough, knowledgeable, responsive, reliable, friendly, and cost-effective. After completely rewiring my house and creating apartments, he passed the ESA inspection with flying colours. I had a bad experience with a previous electrician, so I was very careful in choosing a new one. After reading all the amazing reviews on HC Electrical on homestars, I also called many of his references directly. They all concurred that Larry and his team are amazing. Thank you Larry for everything you have done for us.

Amos and Lorne are an absolute pleasure to deal with. I have used them for 2 sets of condo closet installations and have recommended them to friends, who have also been happy. The price is great for the top quality and service that you get. They provide great design advice, and really listen to what I want. I couldn't believe how quickly the installation (which included removal of the old stuff) went. Lorne had to come back to make a shelf easily removeable so the HVAC could be serviced (I didn't know that the condo building would require this when I had the installation done). Lorne came as soon as I called, changed the hardware and he even put in a removeable rod. I couldn't be happier.

I am extremely happy with Sean and Memar Architects. I interviewed several Architects for my conversion project (turning a single family home into rental units) and Sean was a clear choice for this project. He is very familiar with all of the zoning and permit issues I needed to address, is very thorough, creative and attentive. He always takes the time to answer my numerous detailed questions, and truly thinks outside the box. He has gone above and beyond in so many ways. I am really enjoying working with him, and could NOT have done this project without him. I would highly highly recommend him, and will definitely use him again.

I wanted to get sidelights made for my entry door, and I've been waiting about 3 months for a quote from another company (Canada Glass & Mirror). I gave up on them, and called around. The people at Belmont had the most knowledge, helped me pick a style, let me borrow samples, and were very nice about the fact that I broke one of the samples! They even looked in the warehouse for a large piece so I could see what it would look like. They gave me an excellent price (about 1/3 lower than the competition), and talked me through the whole project so I can install it myself. My order should come any day, and I'm sure I'll be very pleased with the product. Update - the glass came ahead of schedule, and it looks unbelievable. Thanks Belmont!

Streak free was one of the few companies that actually answered the phone and gave me a date for eaves cleaning within a couple of days. They did a fantastic job, and gave me a great price - I think it was the lowest price among the competition. My only complaint is that it was drizzling on the day we scheduled the cleaning, and they didn't show up, didn't warn me that if it were drizzling they would cancel, and didn't call to cancel. I even called them, and didn't hear back until the next day. They did call the next morning and showed up that day and did a fantastic job. So all in all, I'm VERY happy, and would definitely use them again.

I needed objective advice on renovating my basement. Brent was unbelievably helpful on the phone - gave me all kinds of tips and really took his time. I will definitely use him for my next home inspection. Thank you!!

Pete came to our house promptly, and fixed our washer, dryer and fridge. We were having a problem with our dishwasher, and rather than replace a part and have to charge a lot of money, he found a way for us to keep using it. He even suggested a partictular dishwasher detergent that works much better - and sold us some. He also gave extra free advice on my bbq. He was prompt, nice, reasonable and helped me save money. I would use him again in a second.

We recently had our carpet runner installed. The owner came over promplty (after I called) with some samples, and helped advise on colour. He did a fabulous job on the installation. When I commented on a little flaw, he fixed it right away, and asked me repeatedly to examine the work and make sure I was happy. My only issue was that there were quite a few staples left behind on the floor, and I have little kids. He left behind the old carpet, and didn't offer to take it away. I don't know what the standard practise is. Overall I am very pleased with the work.

I needed advice on paint colours in my new house, and wasn't prepared to spend the big bucks on an interior designer. Ana came to my house with huge colour samples, so I could see what the colours would look like in different light. She advised me on each room, taking into account my taste, furnishings, etc. She came up with colours that I would never have thought of (like chocolate brown in the kitchen), and I love the colours, and have gotten soooo many compliments from people. She was a pleasure to deal with, and even came back to bring me extra samples of paint chips. I would recommend her to anyone who is about to paint their house!

Woah, I just read the bad reviews, and I'm shocked. I had a wonderful experience. At first I was really worried because the packers showed up 2 hours late and when I called, I was told they were on their way. When they finally showed up, the packers weren't actually aware of the time they were supposed to have arrived, so it was a big miscommunication. It didn't matter in the end - they did a fantastic, efficient packing job, didn't break a thing. The movers came the next day - and were super nice, fast and careful. They moved our piano beautifully, and didn't cause any damage at all to either house (walls/floors). A couple of things would have been forgotten had I not double checked, but I think that's minor considering the amazing job they did. They helped with furniture reassembly, and were very patient while I figured out where everything should go. I was very impressed when I realized that a special bolt got left somewhere - I called to ask about it, and a few days later they phoned me, said they located it, and actually drove it over to my new house. (turned out to be the wrong bolt, but talk about good customer service). I would recommend tham without hesitation. Also, they were MUCH more affordable than the competition.

It was an absolute pleasure to deal with Shane and his team. We needed them to finish painting our entire house in 5 days (including ceilings and trims), and they went above and beyond. Shane even advised on paint colour, and one of the painters suggested a better colour for a finish than what we had chosen. Their work is meticulous. They removed all the door knobs, and installed new ones for me, and even fixed a baseboard. We changed our minds about certain things, and they were totally accomodating, and very honest about recalculating the price. They made everything look new. Every single worker was a pleasure to deal with. They deserve a 10/10 rating. They are worth every penny!
