These guys are so good I don't want to leave a review, because then they will get too busy!! Seriously, I have rarely found a contractor so good. Sincere, good pricing, respectful and clean workers, good workmanship, good after-sales service.

This was an old floor with many holes that had been cut and drilled over the years, and bad full-width cuts due to the person who had removed the carpet. Bryan and Jason did an excellent job patching the floor seamlessly, blending the cuts as best as humanly possible, then refinishing beautifully. Bryan is semi-retired, so doesn't take a lot of work and does not do installation, but if you can get them, you will be happy with both workmanship and price. (Note: The dark rectangle at the upper-right of the photo is not a clumsy patch. It is the area where the original fireplace stood, laid at right angle to the main area and set off by a walnut border which I wanted to retain, so they filled it to match.)

The neighbour to our semi-detached house had a plumbing leak, and water escaped into our house and damaged the ceilings and walls on two floors. We called a couple of contractors for quotes on the repair and painting required, and chose John Bell. They certainly charged a premium price, which we were willing to pay because we expected a premium job-- but it didn't quite work out that way. The two painters they sent appeared to be sub-contractors, rather than employees, so their intent was to get in and get out as fast as they could. The painting was excellent, their clean-up pretty good, but the repair was not at all up to a professional standard. The ceiling in one area, where the damage had been the worst, was left with minor but visible undulations. I objected about this to the painter, but he defended it, so rather than have a confrontation, I simply said I would see what Mr. Bell himself would say about it. I expected he would check in with me following the job to ensure everything was satisfactory, and I could take it up with him then. Alas, no follow-up call. Once they got their money they were gone. Then a few days later I discovered they had even missed repairing damage at the bottom of one of the walls, on a wall they were supposed to paint entirely. A very disappointing experience.

As a contractor doing quality residential renovations, I have a list of sub-contractors whom I rely on to do excellent work without question. Some of them I have worked with for over 20 years. I don't usually get called on to do paving, so when a client recently asked me to include their driveway in some improvements we were doing, I had to find a new sub to do this portion for me. I had seen another job Cedar Hill had done, and was impressed with the care they took, so after comparing their bid to a couple of others, I chose them to do the job. Suffice it to say they have now been added to my list of trusted sub-contractors.

As a general contractor, I have a list of trusted sub-contractors, people I can trust to do a superlative job without supervision, and at a reasonable price. Dave's Duct Cleaning just got added to my list. The crew was well-trained, courteous, efficient and effective. The whole company seems to be extremely well-run with good systems in place, from the well=prepared response to my initial phone call, to the final photos. A-1

As a general contractor, I sub-contracted some aluminum work to Century. Their price was good, they were prompt and careful, and the work was high-standard. In particular, they mitered a difficult corner the best I have ever seen it done. I will definitely be calling them again for similar work when I have it.

As a homeowner and landlord, I have been using New View Window cleaning for annual window and eaves cleaning on my home and my rental properties for several years now. They are reliable, flexible and do a very good job, and their price is very reasonable. I would highly recommend to anyone.
