Nick was highly professional and meticulous with his work on hooking up our outdoor fireplace. Given this was a design/aesthetics piece as much as it is functional, I really appreciated the attention to small details. When we encountered a problem that was a design flaw from a previous contractor, he offered a great cost effective and functional solution and came back the following day to ensure work was done properly. i usually get some spidey sense when dealing with contractors but Nick is very trustworthy and has a high standard of quality for his work. I would recommend to anyone in need of gas fitting or HVAC.

I don't normally write reviews but this guy Ben - who is my new bff - worked magic on my beautiful shiny white raw silk persian rug that had been absolutely mangled. 1) my movers packed it in this box that bent and completely stretched it to the point that it evoked laughter when people looked at it, 2) I (stupidly) had it in a high traffic eating area for two years and it had accumulated stais and deep dirt but also the fibers looked destroyed 3) a dog spilled black tea all over it, which was the impetus to call in the cleaners... I thought it was a goner, but this guy - Ben from Toronto Rug Cleaning - came by and picked it up and said he could make it like new.. I almost balked at the $800 price tag ($500 for cleaning and $300 for blocking) but he didn't take a deposit and so i thought i had nothing to lose. Ben returned it as promised. Not only did the rug shine bright like new, but his blocking process restored it to the original rectangular shape - i was sure it had been stretched beyond repair. I am not eloquent enough to explain the magnitude of the repair. If i didn't know better I would've thought he switched it for a new one.. On one side i am happy to have my rug back to new but on the other hand i feel like I was on one of those informercials that promise amazing results but you know they just doctored the before and after pic... anyways, pretty steep price but absolutely fantastic result.
