We hired this company to help finish our 100 year old basement. The team was polite and friendly and owner, Andrew was always available to answer questions/concerns.Project stayed within budget and team showed up every morning at the time stated. Basement was left clean each night. Crew was trustworthy with key and was very respectful. Overall Great job and completed to satisfaction. Thank you Mr. Reno!

My husband and I recently purchased a 100 year old home. I called Mags to get a gas line installed and he was extremely quick to respond. He showed up on time, was polite, cleaned up after himself, offered after hours for no additional charge and was quick to complete the task. Let the BBQ season begin. Thanks Mags!

Company Response

Thank-you for your review. I was quite surprised with your rating of '0' on this review. After reviewing this letter, I believe there are alot of misrepresentations. Yes our movers did show up 15 minutes late, but it took us 10 minutes to get the elevator on service, and get our equipment upstairs. You mention that your furniture was NOT wrapped and several pieces were damaged, however in a recent e-mail you indicated that the majority of your furniture was blanket-wrapped, there was one piece that was not wrapped which was a small metal table (which did get damaged) and 1 BBQ cover which had a tear in it. Your claim that you filed with us only indicated these 2 items on it. We did send you out $300.00 for the reairs to these 2 items, I asked you if you were satisfied with this amount and you said "it was fine". As for the "went missing" & "took many breaks", this is extremely exagerated, during the load our driver Anwar went across the street to get some water, and was gone for only 2-3 minutes, your email also indicated the driver sat in the truck for nearly 5 minutes before leaving your p/u address, the driver must look up the address before leaving so he knows where to go.
On route over to the new address our movers stopped for 10 minutes for a coffee, a truck does not go as fast as a car and cannot take shortcuts through residetial streets. You also indicate that you paid the movers $600.00, again you only paid $535.00, and the move was 4.25 hrs long. We are one of the few movers who bill by quarter hour, I believe this is the fairest way for billing. As for the floor runners not being used, I think the guys used their own discretion, after your discussion about the length of the load, since it was a dry day, they decided not to use them. You used our company about 1 year ago and paid exactly $544.00 and this time you paid exactly $535.00. You also mentioned that you did have a few extra things that you added since your last move a BBQ being one of them. We only hire proffesional movers who have a minimum of 2 years verifable experience. I understand you have a 1 bedroom apt., but when 2 people reside in one residence it will take some time to move everything. I'm not sure where all the resentment comes from, as in the end you still ended up paying the moves $20.00 ea. for a tip. Figure that one out!
