Completely rewire 1950's bungalow
Ted gave me an extremely detailed quote. Essentially all the wiring in a large 1950's 3 bedroom bungalow with a basement suite was replaced. The job was complicated because the previous owners had wired with extension cords, unprotected surface mounted wires, ungrounded outlets and a spliced 240V stove wire. All of the workers were polite, careful and cleaned up afterwards. They explained about all the holes that had to be made and swept up afterwards. They took out the exposed older wiring and all the surface mounted wiring as part of the job. They worked hard and got along well. - This job took 6.5 days of work. It was a messy job and in spite of their clean up I still had to vacuum and clean surfaces because of drywall dust and stuff. Be patient.
