I found these guys through Homestars (this exact website) by issuing a service request for an electrician. They responded to my request and quoted me a starting price of $150. My job for them was to fix the broken doorbell and troubleshoot my second floor lights (the lights went out when I tried to change my light switches to smart switches). I initially thought this was expensive but decided to go with them based on other people's reviews. I felt they went above and beyond to help me. They discovered my doorbell transformer was broken so they gave me a new one free of charge. The second issue with the doorbell was the doorbell ring was fried, but they did a workaround for me so I didn't have to buy a brand new one. Overall, I felt they were honest people and I would recommend them to anyone needing an electrician.

I own a property out East and I needed someone to take care of an electrical outlet that would short circuit when it was plugged in. I called Captain Electric based on a recommendation from a friend. The whole entire process was very straight forward and I didn't need to take time off to deal with it. I prepaid for the service call and they came in the following morning to fix the issue. They called me afterwards to give me an update on the issue. Overall, I was very satisfied.

They were not the cheapest but the service was worth it. They also repair some of my vents (some were loose) without even me requesting. Great job Brandon and James!

We were looking to replace our old bed and decided to give the Endy mattress a try. We checked out the physical location and felt the bed was a bit soft for us but purchased it anyway - since there is a 100 night trial. They shipped it to us and left the box on our driveway (it was wet that day) but mattress was fine when we opened it. After a few weeks we emailed them that the mattress was soft and they sent us free of charge a mattress cover which is supposed to make the bed firmer. At the end, we decided to return our mattress because it wasn't right for us. They came to pick up our mattress free of charge and refunded me the full amount. The mattress wasn't right for me but the customer service was top notch.

We wanted to get California shutters installed for our bay windows and we shopped around for contractors. I remember the first contractor quoted us over $1000 and asked us to do more windows for volume discount. This company quoted us way lower and was very honest about installing new windows. They suggested we don't install shutters in one room because the lighting wouldn't be good (they were obviously losing a sale by saying that). On the day of installation they also gave us free paint to paint the frame as our frame was peeling paint. Overall, I was very impressed.

Baig was the person who came to install my dishwasher and water filter system. I purchased the two items separately and called him up to install. The entire job took about 4 hours. I was generally satisfied with his job. I had to purchase the supplies myself. If he was going to do it, he would have charged a 25% markup.

I am pretty happy with the service and installation. Before I knew anything about water softeners I called this place up, Dave spoke to me, and gave me a lengthy introduction into how water softeners work and how they should be priced. At no point did I feel pressured to buy anything he was just explaining to me what it is. I also did a price comparison with one other place and this place came in cheaper so I knew I was getting good value for my money - especially when this place has been around since the early 90s. When the installer came (Ken), he was very patient and pleasant to deal with. He answered all my questions. What I liked about this company is before they started work, they gave me a quote of what the extra installations would be (I had requested 2 bypass installations done and they can't determine the cost without looking the house). Overall, I had no problems dealing with them and I'm happy with my water softener.

Tom Rando was very thorough in his process. I purchased my house brand new from the developers and I wanted someone to do a full inspection for my 30 day Tarion. I'm glad I came onto Homestars and found Tom. He climbs onto the roof and checks the attic for insulations. I know a home inspection isn't perfect but it still gave me peace of mind knowing that my house is fine. The cost is a bit steep compared to others but it is money well spent. He does send you a soft copy of your house.
