I had a company come out and look at my gas fireplace as it was no longer working since the pilot light would not come on. Their rep advised me that my gas valve was broken & that the entire part would have to be replaced. He quoted me over $500 to rectify the problem. I then called Canada Climate Services for a 2nd opinion. They came out and looked into the situation without me saying what the other company advised me of. Canada Climate Services advised me that the problem was the thermocouple and that it could be repaired very quickly. I asked them about the gas valve at that point since the other company seemed to think it was broken and they tested it and said it was perfectly fine. In the end my gas fireplace was fixed in less than 30min and for a fifth of the cost. I was more than satisfied with Canada Climate Services. They were very professional and knowledgeable and I would definitely use them again and recommend them to others hands down.
