Having had the stucco on the lower part of my home painted by a so-called expert, and finding a year later the paint peeling off in sheets, I realised the solution was cladding. I knew I had to find someone trustworthy, so turned to HomeStars who recommend the listed companies and also provide reviews. I soon came across Home Doctor with 30 reviews, all of which were most favourable and indeed encouraging. Shaun, the owner and Principal immediately came over, showed me samples of the vinyl siding and also explained the process of applying over the stucco. He also advised me that siding is now installed over a backing with insulation. I was most impressed with Shaun as he was businesslike but also extremely patient and helpful, and there was no sales pressure whatsoever. So I took a leap of faith and decided that as well as the stucco being clad, the 50 year old siding on the top part of the house should be replaced together with new soffit, fascia, guttering and downspouts. Shaun provided me with a fully detailed quotation, plus three references from homes right in my area, so I agreed work should commence. The work crew, Mirsad, Chris, Adam and Todd arrived on time each day and worked well together. Everyone knew what their particular job was and got on with it. They were extremely polite but also friendly and cheerfully answered any of my questions. The foreman, Mirsad seemed to want to go out of his way to make sure I was happy and indeed added a couple of embellished extras! Any small query I had was dealt with immediately and Shaun was in touch or available the whole time. During and at the end of the project, everything was cleared up and removed to my complete satisfaction. All the guys worked well together but I believe the driving force is Shaun who obviously cares for his workers as well as his clients. There seems to be a deep respect which obviously makes for a healthy company leading to good workmanship and pride in their work. I found it obvious that Shaun's business ethics are that the customer is important and deserves to be treated as such, rather than just an end to making money. My home now looks awesome, is maintenance free with the added bonus of insulation for the Winter months. I made a wise decision putting my trust in Shaun and his excellent crew and would not hesitate to recommend Home Doctor."
