The city was replacing the water main on my street, so I decided to replace the portion the city wont touch: the lead pipe from inside my house out about 6-8 feet to the city main. As it happened, Robert was by to give me an estimate on the very day the city happened to be replacing the main. He was able to get his guys to move quickly and take advantage of the fact that the city would already have everything dug up (this saved me a few hundred $s). The Mr Rooter crew did a good job, much of the work outside in the freezing January weather. They were troopers; finishing at about 9 at night. Only complaint I might have was a bit of a mess left behind. But to be honest I am not sure that most of it could have been avoided, as the job required tearing up some concrete in the basement.

My eavestroughs were old and leaking. And my bay window was leaking into the house. I had two of Homestars top eavestrough/roofing companies take a look at the job. Neither seemed quite sure what the problem was w/my bay window, but made estimates to repair what they thought might be the issue. I dont know that David from Husky was positive what the problem was either, but his estimate was quite a bit lower than the other companies. Low enough that I felt comfortable taking a shot on his company. Glad I did. It took a few trips for them to get everything done, but David's guys did a good job. One corner of an eavestrough was leaking after they completed the job, and the guys came the next day and took care of it. Overall, a good experience and I'd use Husky again.
