I bought a Midea air-conditioner and had tried to get an installation from Rona where it was bought. It was a convoluted process, difficult to get hold of customer service and the sub-contractor when finally arrived, decided that he should get more money than what had already been paid even before the service was performed. Fortunately, I got reimbursed and decided to contact Mr. Handyman. I was able to speak to a representative immediately. The customer service was excellent, an upfront range of cost of the service was given and they were able to schedule a technician to come within three business days, but actually contacted me and came in just two business days. The work took 1 1/2 hours with a patient technician who made sure all was in good working condition and left everything clean. I did not have to pay it on the spot or before the service was performed, but just called the office after the technician had left and submitted my credit card number safely over the phone. When needed I will call Mr. Handyman again. I called Mr. Handyman in the first place after reading the positive reviews in HomeStars.
