Ryan, Ryan (yes, there are two Ryan's), and Matt were the three people I dealt with for this project. Ryan1 helped me to plan and did the pricing and the project management. Ryan2 and Matt did the entire installation. This entailed removing the ugly and inefficient window the builders had installed, removing a lot of insulation, plywood, and drywall, and installing a very large frame containing two glass panels and two glass patios doors. In addition, they replaced my back door and screen door. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the work that all three of these gentlemen did. It was nothing short of amazing. The transformation to my home is unbelievable. Just take a look at the pictures and you will see. The first picture was taken at 9am on a Wednesday morning. The second was taken at 3pm the next day. I still can't stop staring at it!

This past winter the gas fireplace in my home started to act a bit flaky. Since I have been in my home over ten years, I figured I should have it inspected. You know, the whole gas/flames thing. Probably nice to make sure that nothing was wrong. I did some research and Ryan My Fireplace Guy had great reviews, so I gave them a call. They were extremely responsive and showed up at the stated time, did a thorough inspection, replaced a few parts, and I once again feel safe! They were extremely professional and their technician really knew his stuff. This summer, I decided to install a gas heater in my garage. After all, isn't heat what everyone thinks about in the summer? I called Ryan, and Mike came by and gave me a quote. The team was able to install it very quickly (approx 5 hours). Again, very professional! They looked after the permit and Alice called me to find the best time for the inspection. The inspection was quick and easy with no issues. They even helped me to find someone to insulate my garage. I highly recommend Ryan! They are my go-to people for all things gas related.

Fresh Coat, led by Leslie have done substantial work in my home, including: * Paint/change of colour to exterior trim and front veranda * Indoor paint/change of colour to all rooms on the main and second level, including trim * Paint/change of colour to downstairs landing and stairs, including trim * Refinished all kitchen cabinets * Refinished my dining room table * Sprayed new doors I had made for a hall closet * Refinished my glass office doors There is probably more that I forgot about as well. As soon as I start a renovation, I call Leslie to get her input and she always gives me great advice! In addition, she has always been on time and communicates well regarding what to expect and what is required from me. I have absolutely no issue with recommending Fresh Coat Painting to anyone.

We met Dylan and his team at the Calgary Home show where we discussed an issue that we were having with our garage. A large crack had developed in the foundation which was causing shifting that was so extreme the door and frame had actually been damaged. We had several companies come in to give us advice as well as two independent engineers and the company that originally built the garage 7 years earlier. Short of re-doing the entire foundation at a cost of over 10k, no-one could offer us a solution or even explain why this had happened. Dylan and his team came in and took this on without hesitation. For an extremely reasonable cost they came in, analysed and repaired what no-one else seemed to be able to figure out. They were on-time, on-budget, professional, and even offered information on how we could do some finishing that would help prevent the chance of the problem ever re-occurring. As we are in the process of planning our next home, we know that we will definitely use this company again and we highly recommend them. Our garage looks awesome!
