I decided to get my kitchen renovated and after meeting with a number of companies on a quote I felt comfortable to proceed with Ellery Kitchen and Bath, my restoration was a little complex in that my house is 130 years old - the kitchen had 5 flooring layers I needed to have removed and then levelled to match the rest of the house, their team spent the time to meticulously deliver a levelled floor after the removal of the old floor - they installed a waterproof floor and the cabinets were nicer than I saw even on the sample - they restored the kitchen to pristine condition with all new everything, and more than that they were so easy to work with! I would recommend them to anyone and will get them back for the next major job (bathroom)!

My Kitchen Reno began with damage resulting from my dishwasher malfunction causing a flood, I contacted my insurer Intact, and after a couple months of runaround by them - I opted to not use their renovations crew - because I found them to be less that competent, I had a number of quotes, and settled with the AGM Quote, while my insurance still wont cover the full scope of work ( they only wanted to replace the flooring and island) I opted to ensure all components matched - the team started in earnest 3 weeks ago and completed in record time(in my mind) only a few simple adjustments and the end result is I have a kitchen to be proud of, and a company that has won my confidence for any future work!

So happy to have the services of Renewal By Anderson, my challenge was I had a 60" opening for a window (replaced 11 years ago )I wanted to be an awning style - I tried to speak with a number of other large supply companies and was told for a span that wide it needed to be broken into 2 windows or at the least have a centre support, which is what I had done, and although the windows had a warranty - there was literally 0 response in year 10 to getting the issue resolved - so replacement was my only option. Renewal By Anderson was the only company with a window that met my needs, I decided to get them to also replace a few of the remaining windows in my home that had not been replaced, those windows were at least 30 years old ! While no install job in my 112 year old home has been easy - the artisans that did the install were masterful at making it look simple - They resolved a long standing issue that happened in the past with the large windo and they instantly beautified the windows that I also had them replace 1 of which was half buried under poured concrete , I do not have the pictures taken yet but will do that this weekend after I finish the final touches of painting the rooms where the work was done. Renewal by Anderson have a full warranty that is not Pro-Rated and if anything goes wrong with the windows over the next 20 years I feel assured in the contract that they will replace the windows at no cost.

In 2001 I had engineered flooring installed in my home, by a company that no longer exists, despite issues with the company I liked the final work, however fast forward 15 years and the area in my den where the wood had been laid had gotten wet after a window was left open, this caused all the floor to buckle and rot, I connected with Kennedy Flooring on a chnace visit to their store, I met a sales rep named Rodney who talked to me about all of the options, and let me leave with some samples, the next thing was to have Brandon attend to give his view of what I was thinking - in the end I settled on Karndean Vinyl woodlike flooring as the den has in ingress and egress access to a backyard - wood was not the best original choice, Kennedy Flooring helped me in selecting the closest wood grain match to my existing wood floors and then sent in their Install Expert Rob - who was able to do the tearout - install of a new subfloor, and a complete prep for the install of the new flooring, he was patient and thorough, he did not rush and was also able to install new carpeting to my basement stairs improving the look of that area with the care of a consummate professional. I would highly recommend the team at Kennedy - from initial meeting to completion of the job was just around 2 weeks, most of that was just the time to order the vinyl required. I have continued to consider other flooring work I need done as this was a great group to work with and they exceeded my expectations on all of the work.

I want to say thank you to the non union team of Nick & Norm, this team were able to perform the task that the unionized installers from Reliance were not prepared to do, however Reliance was able to pull together Nick and Norm who installed my new furnace and AC unit, and like a masterful Industrial design duo they created a seamless install of both pieces of equipment. My house is more than 100 years old and with this latest change to a high efficiency unit I am finally feeling a good flow of air to my upper level of my Victorian home. I would highly recommend that if you have need of a new AC or Heating unit to give the guys at Reliance a call, see if you can get Nick and Norm, they worked nonstop and cleaned up after they were done, my furnace looks fantastic and the way that Nick fashioned sheet metal into the frame it looks more like a custom sheet metal Harlequin box than ductwork .

This former Queen West Institution has relocated to the new West Queen West area of Gladstone into a cool deco warehouse, the staff are great and I had my bedroom set deliver in just under 7 weeks, worried when I saw they were moving I thought about other stores that were supposed to be moving but then disappeared from the Toronto landscape with deposits and product..I didn't want to stress but they proved to me they were setting up shop on Gladstone with ads they had placed and their new website - but the best reason for me selecting them was the time the staff took to explain everything I needed to know and assured me they would look after walking me through all the details. I highly recommend this store to all my friends - as I have been to many of the other stores on Queen Street - and I decided to not buy made in China -I wanted Canadian made ..that is what they carried at Pavilon on Queen and that is what they are carrying at the new space.

I had wanted to have my upstairs bathroom in my home redone since I purchased my home in 2000, but with the house being over 100 years old there were more pressing items that needed to be addressed first. After nearly completing all of the other challenges that the house presented - and after almost 12 years of constant work I was too tired to do any more of the reno work myself, so I undertook to find a reputable bathroom reno company, I attended the the Home show in the spring, contacted a few of the companies - had free in home consults with 2 and provided dimensions and photos to a 3rd, While Bath Solutions was not at the cheapest end of pricing they were right in the middle, and I was made all the more assured that they would be the right choice when I saw the selection of materials, and given that my bathroom was not a standard size I would need to get a custom sized platform (which I already knew having checked out shower platforms at plumbing supply showrooms). When I was told that all work was done by the owner of the particular franchise & all work was fully guaranteed with as minimal interruption as possible & the job could be done in a day or 2 I signed on the dotted line ! I knew if I had done the job myself it would have cost me almost as much in renting a truck to get materials, sourcing what I needed and then finding the time to do the work, it would have probably been about 2 weeks of work if I tried to do it myself (and given some of the issues that Tony was presented with, after all the house is over 100 years old and there were definitely areas in the bathroom that proved that parts of that room hadn't seen the light of day in as many years! Bath Solutions completed my bathroom this weekend & I have to say I LOVE my newly redone Bathroom - the shower is AWESOME and TONY who is the Owner was meticulous in his attention to detail. The overall scope of work took a total of 17 hours and 2 men on the first day and Tony doing all of the final work on day 2. - I have provided pictures of the final job & some of the work in progress. I have a second bathroom down stairs which is the final big project and I will certainly be having Tony back to do that next spring.
