We hired Keith fencing. He was more expensive than the other quote that we had received but we decided to go with him as one of our neighbours knew him personally. We have now had problem with the fence for a year. We have not been able to close one of the gates and the panels keep falling off. After repeat phone calls, he did decide to finally come but says that it is going to cost 450 + tax to correct the posts and 125 + tax per hour for the lattices and panels coming off ! This for correcting the work that was not done right in the first place. He has no work ethics. I would not recommend him. I am thinking of filing a complaint with Better business bureau.

Company Response

As regards to your commences & giving me a 0 is totally unfair you forgot to mention the amount of times I did replace posts for you & adjusted your gates (all thou I installed adjustable hinges)

When I was requested to speak with everyone involved in this project I did tell everyone not to install a fence at this time as the ground has not settled I was told by everyone that the builder stated you could construct fence but in my experience it’s always best to let the ground settle through two winters not just one winter also the material chosen was a 6ft & 7ft privacy PVC fence again I explained that this fence comes with a manufacture limited lifetime warranty but it really is limited it was best to go with a series 4000 fence which is a aluminum fence which is a much better quality product

But going against my advice the work started in the summer of 2013 the job took about a month to complete due to the bad digging everything went well except the disagreements between the neighbours about the height of the panels

The fence was installed to the manufacture instructions I also used the recommended fairing tool to install the rails for each panel the fence was installed the correct way so was the posts

Since this job was completed about six months you contacted me due to the posts moving I responded & came over to take a look the reason for the posts moving is the ground had not settled & was still moving I did remove two posts & reset them in cement which put the fence back in line I also adjusted the gates I have been back another two times to adjust your gates & take a look at the fence it has now been two years since the fence was completed I stall get e-mails requesting me to remove & reinstall moor posts this work I have to charge for & because of this you gave me a bad review.

Since this review appeared you have agreed to my charges all thou I do me best to keep all of me customers happy but in this case I have done enough so what ever I do will not please you.
