Having recently purchased a new town house, it was evident that it was going to require a complete paint job top to bottom as there were a number of damaged, scratched up and small holes in the wall. I decided to do as I've done in the past and make 4 quotes of reputable people/companies that I could find on the internet in Calgary and discuss what I thought needed to happen in my home. All three of the "other guys" just made notes as I was talking and giving the traditional "oh, that's going to be a lot of work..." and continued to add/pad their quote. David took the time to review damage to my walls, explaining the process of filling, priming, painting, sanding and re-painting to make it look perfect. The wife really appreciated that as she doesn't always listen to me ;) He advised that our window trim was in good shape and he didn't recommend to have it repainted given the cost/benefit and as the inside was vinyl and eventually it would peel and have to be re-done. Some magic erasers, on David's advice cleaned up the minor scuffs and look good as new. David's price was good too and there were no hidden fees or upgrades or any other deceitful tactics. David gave us a time frame, started the job and ended when he said he would. After reviewing the job that he did and comparing to my own experiences here and in other provinces I've lived, I was blown away with the near perfection of the lines around window trim, baseboards, closet hangars and other obstacles. He even called me up to ask if I wanted to have him remove the curtain roads as they were practically falling off anyway, fill in the holes and paint it all up new so that I could properly hang a new rod and hardware into some studs. I would highly recommend David to friends, family and commercial applications as it's been a long time that I've been this satisfied with the service, the job that was done, the attention to detail and his recommendations when we were discussing details in building up the quote.
