Sam came out to the house and assessed our entire home. Kiddie Proofers honours the Shop the Block card so we received a 5% discount on goods and products. The guy who came out to the house faced a significant challenge as none of our drawers have easy access for finger guards, and our house is full of crown moulding that made baby gates impossible (we thought!). He installed everything for us, cleaned up after himself, and saved us a ton of work! I definitely recommend hiring Kiddie Proofers to safeguard your home against accidental injuries.

When we moved into a drafty house, we thought we could live with it, but the banging of the window in its frame was keeping us up nights. We saw an Action sign on a neighbour's lawn, and called them in. Their price was more than fair -- when we told them we wanted to call around for quotes andwould get back to them, they wanted us to commit right then and dropped the price twice as we deliberated. In the end, we got 10 new windows that look better, save us money on heat and air conditioning, and best of all, are silent. It's such an affordable way to make a huge difference in the look and feel of a home. I'd definitely recommend Action.

We noticed a lot of critter activity up in our attic and were advised by the Pest company that we had some "holes" in our roof. We called Juff's and they sent someone out to patch up the holes as a short term gap solution. Meanwhile, Steve came out to the house and assessed our roof for us, showing us pictures of the inside of the roof (from inside the attic), as well as from the outside. This was very valuable as we could really see how extensive the wear and tear was on the roof. Steve gave us a very competetive quote on the services, brought samples to our home, and walked us through the entire process. He even played with my kid. Steve gave us a scheduled date for repair -- very close to my expected delivery date of my second child! When my medical team told me the baby would have to come early, Steve moved up our re-roof date so it would be done in time to bring home our new son. I can't thank him enough for putting a safe, dry and beautiful roof over our heads.

My central vacuum broke and Danny's came out to take a look at it. They told me that my old one could be fixed, but would require yearly repairs that would cost more than a replacement within five years. They installed a new canister in that same visit, provided me with all new attachments and hoses, and even provided some advice on how to achieve ideal suction depending on surface material. They have been out twice to help with clogs -- and this is my only reason for not giving them the 10 stars. I haven't had anyone else in, but my old vacuum never had any clogs, and I'm not sure why this one does... Great, fast installation and clean up.

We found Arrow when we bought a new house that needed considerable work done. Arrow rewired the entire house, re-built a basement bathroom with new framing, built us new bathroom cabinets upstairs, and did too many other little projects to name.Shawn and his team were courteous, clean, on-time and on budget. They kept us informed of every step of the process and finished on time. We have hired Shawn on several other occassions, including an emergency re-build of our back deck, a sky-light project, and we have him on retainer for some structural repairs in a few weeks. He's always impressed us with the quality of his work. I'd definitely recommend Arrow.

Baker's inspection said our house only needed new electrical. Since our purchase one year ago, we've had to replace entire roof, our deck collapsed; we require major structural work; our chimney needs to be replaced. Baker missed all of these things even though each tradesperson said they would be impossible to miss if you knew anything about houses. Baker has cost us tens of thousands of dollars. I would have been better off without them. DO NOT rely on their "professional" opinions.
