After noticing that the Mix in valve on the water heater was defective, Levstein & Stern Plumbing were recommended by a previous contractor I trust and were on site on the same day and did the repair quickly and efficiently. Would not hesitate at calling on them again for other plumbing issues.

At a high level, our project consisted in - a kitchen remodel - removal of a load bearing wall - changing a rear window into a french door - redoing the flooring throughout the main floor. We selected Home Guru after meeting with 5 different contractors and we are very happy with our selection. Aaron and Justin are honest, hard-working, dependable and professional. Our site manager, Ian, was also great to work with. They guided us throughout the whole project, made great recommendations when we were unsure about our options. The project overall went very well. Within the timelines that were discussed originally and within budget that was agreed to. The site was kept clean They use an application that helps manage communication with everyone (CoConstruct) and for me that was actually a great way to have all communications and information in one place. It made exchanges quick and everyone was in the loop at the same time. I would definitely use them again for renovations in our house and have no problem recommending them to anyone who is looking to do renovations in their home. When requesting a quote, they were very reasonably priced. I had 2 runner rugs picked up. They were cleaned and delivered as scheduled. Great service overall.

We needed our ducts cleaned and used homestars to find a company to provide the service. Dave's Ducts was prompt to reply to all my inquiries and was offering the services I wanted. On the day of service they actually called an offered an earlier timeslot which was working for us. The team was quick to get everything cleaned up and showed pictures of before and after. Good job overall.

We were looking to replace the front door and side door to our house. After contacting the company they provided PDF books for us to look over and when we were ready, they came over to do an estimate. We chose this company from 3 or 4 different quotes we received. The price was good and their reputation impeccable. The door installation took place yesterday, the team was very courteous did a really great installation, including some detailed work to fit the trim around some existing features of the house. Great work, Great experience!

Pro-Loc did a very good job with the interlocking on the new patio, side walkway and front step we were doing at our house. From the start when they came over to provide a quote, they were very knowledgeable and did a very good job explaining what they would be doing. And as the project moved forward, the crews that came and did the work did very well and cleaned up after themselves when they were finished. I am very satisfied with the work they have done and would not hesitate in recommending their work to others.

Earlier this summer I noticed the chimney crown was in need of repairs and using homestars found All Canadian Masonry. They were extremely professional, did a great job of removing the old crown and putting a new one in. They kept everything very clean and cleaned up the mess. Overall a great contractor and I would definitely use them again.

I needed a large birch tree removed from my property, but it was in between 2 houses and large enough that I needed help. I received multiple quotes from different companies on Homestars and Hudson Tree Services was very good at providing all the information I needed and did the work for a reasonable price. They cleaned up the whole are quite well and will be back to remove the stump in a few days.

While doing a basement renovation we needed to update the electrical panel and run all new electrical for the basement. CMD electric was the electrician company selected and they did amazing work. Sebastian and Josh led the multiple visits required over the renovation time and did a really good job. The pot lights they supplied and installed are a great product and the rest of the electrical work was great as well.

After completing a basement renovation, we knew it would be a good idea to get the ducts cleaned. after looking on Homestars for references I chose this company and I have been very pleased with the work done. The staff was friendly and explained all the details.

Glen Stewart was given as a recommendation from someone I knew and I was very satisfied with the work done in the basement. He was very good at communicating any challenges encountered and providing options we had for the renovation. When an issue was encountered or discovered he corrected the situation and the overall project was very successful.

We just completed a full basement renovation which included the installation of a bathroom with a shower, back flow valve and moving other plumbing around for the laundry room. Over the last 2 months, Roy and his team did a great job and were very quick with their interventions when they were required. Overall they were very professional and did an excellent job. They are trustworthy and I intend to use them again when I have future plumbing needs.

We started a basement renovation last week and saw that a crack in the foundation was leaking inside after the rainfall the night before. "Lucky" for use to find out before finishing the basement. I called around for waterproofing and of the 4 companies I called only DryShield offered the crack injection from the inside. I made the appointment and Peter came today to fix the cracks. His keen eye identified other places that might need to be fixed which we ended up doing as well. I am very glad we found DryShield to help us out in a timely manner and have no issues recommending them based on my experience. Thanks!

I called Priority plumbing on Thursday and the call was answered very curteously and professionally. I made an appointment for the next saturday since the repairs were not "urgent". On Saturday, the plumber called and confirmed his arrival time and showed up as expected. He was very professional, wore boot covers and looked at the 2 problems to provide me with a written estimate of the repairs with some different options to choose from. The prices are not cheap by any means but include all parts and labour. The company also offers a service place which gives a rebate on their list prices. The work was done extremely well and efficiently.
