Mike at Cornell Roofing is one the worst person I have ever met. He quoted my roofing job back in January 2015 for $52,000.00 and received roughly $30,000.00 from me and said that he needed all this to order the shingles. I was sceptical after reading the bad reviews, but he convinced me that he is very reliable. Then he started the job sometime in April 2015, and I started noticing that he is never at our lot, when the weather was nice. However he will complain that it is raining and blame mother nature. As he finished some of the flat roof and the shingles, we were forced to pay another $9000.00 and after that I have only seen him and his crew on and off at the site and to this day (August 6, 2015) my roof is not done. The rain has caused so much damage to my property. We have been calling him and no response. Please read the reviews other people had posted, because they are so true. The good reviews he has gotten are not real. I now had to get another company to finish the job and I was unable to finish my interior finishes to this day. He has poor customer service and doesn't know how to treat his customers. If I call him to finish my job, he will say "not to micromanage him." I am taking him to court for all the damages he has done to my property. He will tell you not to believe the reviews. Trust me, he doesn't tell the truth. He will also tell you that he has won the people's choice award. Really???? You are better off getting another roofing company. I suggest that you check the references or get a company through a referral source. He has caused me so much hardship and headaches. I repeat, he doesn't know how to speak the truth. Do not believe any of the word he is saying to you. On another note, he thinks that he knows everything and even if their shingle job is bad, they won't fix it. Mike and his crew will tell you to sleep on it and look at the roof the next day. Who would do that???? Radhika
