The previous review from bikeman' was useful to me sadly after the fact. So called Best Bet Renovations, completely destroyed my shower, cracked our expensive tiles and mounted it just the same with the chips and cracks. Water settled in the shower base as there was no pre-slope, tiles started falling off the walls due to lack of adhesive (1 day after so called installation). While the owner of the business was in my home I reviewed the job and showed him tiles that were coming down from the ceiling and he blamed it on his assistant. I later realized that he did not correct the mistake. The shower door on opening was making a crying noise, after careful inspection found out it was not installed properly. Missing some of the screws that came with the unit. He left and took the installation booklet for the shower door along with the hardware and tools that came with it for installation. We called him back in and showed him the less than mediocre job he did and his excuse was to blame his assistant once again. We asked him if he'd noticed that his assistant was doing a bad job why not correct it instead of leaving it the same way - no response. He wasn't willing to correct the job then, or now or ever. We had to have the entire shower enclosure gutted and redone. Do yourself a favour and keep away from this company or if you decide to let them unto your premises, watch them every step of the way and let them know the materials you want used in your home. Better yet, let him show you what he purchased to work on your home. I seriously think the butter he used on the tiles that got some material on them, he concocted himself to save money. They are a huge rip off. To top it off he went over the timeline agreed on, destroyed my newly installed hardwood and made a mess of my master bedroom, ensuite and scratched up my vanity. He left my place a mess and half the garbage in my garage. I had a contract with these people and they did not honour it. My queue from the onset that I was dealing with unethical and unscrupulous people was he quoted me one price of $2800 first, then $3300. Because I didn't say much on the pricing at the time, he went further to say a job like this is $5800 to $6500 including fixtures and everything. I told him we have everything we want installed, he just needs to do the installation and that he fell short of fulfilling.
