Jordan and his team from GreenEarth did a fantastic job. We are very happy with the results result. From the outset Jordan provided a clear quote with breakdown and iterated a few times as we agreed on the scope of work. The crew efficiently cleared all the overgrown brush in our front and backyard including many large shrubs and stumps. They built a beautiful new fence and plated the plants and trees we had agreed on. I appreciate that they we very responsive and came back to correct a few items on my request. Im very happy with the workmanship and quality of service. Great job!

I hired Hotwire to install Cat6 cabling in my house so that I can really use the full bandwidth of the Gb internet service I have (Wifi can only do so much). We agreed on the service and where to install the cables and termination points. Mike and Mark came to do the work and spent the day fishing wires through the attic and into the various rooms including the basement. I'm so glad I hired them as it was a lot trickier than I thought...especially fishing the wires into the attic and then getting them to the main floor and to the basement. They were professionals and knew what to do. I'm really happy with the final work and super excited that I can now get the full Gb bandwidth in different rooms of the house. Job very well done! I've hired them before and wouldn't hesitate to hire them again!

We had a leak in the tiled shower floor in our house that leaked through from the second floor through the ceiling on the first floor. The work required digging up the shower tiles to uncover the liner and repair the plumbing. We hired Handyman Connection and Joe came to our rescue and found the issue with the liner and drain connection which he repaired handily. He re-tiled the shower floor perfectly and even repaired the drywall in the ceiling below. Joe was courteous and very professional and left everything very clean each day. I was very impressed with his attention to detail. Thank you and Great work Joe!

Another great job by the hotwire team. They installed a sub-panel to supply my furnace and steam humidifier. Tyler and Eric were efficient, friendly, and knowlegeable. They arrived on-time and everything was done and cleaned up within a couple of hours. Thanks again for the great work!

I called Protection Plus to install new locks and window bars in our house. I’ve been using them for a couple of years now for various security needs and have been very happy and satisfied with the work. The door lock service was no exception. Brian was very helpful and friendly. He surveyed the house and recommended various options and provided written quotes. We decided to go with skybell, new locks, window bars and window film. The skybell was installed in an hour and we love it. Cory, the lock specialist, came and installed the locks, door guardians and window bars. He was very friendly, super helpful and efficient. He even fixed the sag in our front door and an issue with our bathroom door while he was here! The new grip sets look really elegant and the window bars are very modern. Overall, I am very pleased with the service and will continue to use and highly recommend protection plus. Thanks!

I hired CoreTemp last August 2015 to replace two ancient furnaces in our newly purchased house. Richard came and provided his recommendation on choices of furnaces and explained his reason for recommending a modulating furnaces. I compared multiple quotes and options and did a little research myself. I decided to go with Coretemp for a variety of reasons. I can say that we're very happy with the work they did installing the furnaces as well as the new thermostats. Richard also came back to answer questions and even did an airflow assessment to help determine how to address issues we were having. He has been very helpful and responsive throughout. During the initial visit Richard's keen sense of smell picked up the smell of gas outside of our house and I quickly called in Enbridge who found a small gas leak in the furnace pipes and quickly addressed it. Thanks to Richard, we averted a much larger disaster. I can certainly say without hesitation that I highly recommend Richard and CoreTemp.

Hired Rent-a-Son to move a year ago (August 2015). Great experience from start to finish. Rob was very responsive with the quote and additional details we asked about. The movers (David, Corey and Naruto) were very pleasant and polite while they moved our stuff. They had to disassemble several pieces of furniture and reassemble at the new house. They did everything very well very carefully with no damage. We were very happy with the work and would highly recommend.

I chose Cutting Edge to replace the plywood, shingles and eaves on our roof in Oct 2015 after getting several quotes for the work. Robert came and explained everything clearly and quoted the work. I was very impressed with his knowledge and explanation of the work. He even crawled up into our attic to take a look and took pictures to show us. His crew of 8 was efficient and completed the work on schedule and cleaned up very well afterwards. I was amazed they completed both the plywood and shingles in one day. They also fixed several bathroom vents that were not properly connected and showed us pictures of the finished work. They correct several errors they found and even pointed out some other issues they found when they removed the plywood. The eaves was done separately about a week later. I was very happy with their work and would highly recommend.

I've hired Hotwire multiple times for various jobs big and small. This week I had a small job to move a chandelier-- I believe it was Tyler and Ray(?) who came. They were very professional, efficient and courteous. They took care to safely lay our crystal chandelier on some pillows to avoid any damage. They had the chandelier moved in under 2 hours which was appreciated as we had to be out for appointments after 2:30. The only issue I had was that they were supposed to arrive at 10am and ended up coming at 12:45 which had me a bit worried but in the end it worked out and I am very happy with the work--especially given they did this job on short notice. Previously, we had several jobs including adding new potlights which was done by John, Tyler and Dan. The potlights were done perfectly and look great. They also installed a bathroom fan and investigated some wiring in our attic and even crawled up into the attic to inspect it carefully. I am very happy with their work and their professionalism. Even though the attic didn't require work, they still went through and inspected it to advise us. I can also say they stand behind their work. We had an issue with one of the recepticals they did from a previous job and they repaired it with no questions or issue. Overall, I'm very happy with Hotwire and would highly recommend to anyone who needs reliable, professional electricians. (Note approximate cost is for both jobs they did)

I needed an electrician to address a list of defects found by the ESA inspector in our new house. The work included applying special connectors to every electrical outlet and light fixture in the house due to the use of Aluminum wiring which otherwise can be a fire hazard. In addition, we had to install GFCI outlets and some rewiring of the service panel connections as well as several other issues to address. All of this needed to be done to a deadline both by the ESA and our insurance company. I sought several quotes and found that Hotwire was the promptest and most organized of the companies I queried. They were the only ones who emailed me with an itemized quotation of the work, answered my questions, and were available to complete the work before our ESA deadline, all of which clinched the deal. I was very impressed with Alex and the team who arrived with 5 technicians on the first day and set to work very efficiently on all areas of the house. The second day, again 4 technicians were onsite during the entire day. Everything was carried out quickly and to high quality standards. They also cleaned up after themselves which I appreciated. I supervised some of the work and observed and discussed with Alex in person to ensure I understood how it had been completed. I can definitely say they are skilled professionals who know their trade very well and were very helpful and courteous too. I followed up with the front office a week later and had the ESA inspection which passed easily. I received the ESA certification approximately a week later. They are certainly not the cheapest electricians out there but I am very satisfied with the work they completed and feel like I can finally rest easy that the electrical system in our house is done right. I would definitely use them again and will highly recommend them to friends.
