My mother had a 25-year-old riverbank bungalow with a walkout basement. The foundation had pushed outwards and the rear wall moved slightly. Justin identified the problem, which had nothing to do with the riverbank. A missing sump pump caused soil to erode from 70 feet of rear foundation and about 25 feet on each of the sides. A licensed engineer agreed with the analysis and signed off on Justin's work plan. Justin and his crew excavated 120 feet of foundation, including 20 feet that had to be dug by hand. A second foundation was poured and tied into the original with rebar as shown in the pictures. Weeping tile and a sump pump were installed, the foundation trench filled and tamped and the yard was landscaped. Justin’s communication, service and price were all excellent. If anyone wants more information, Justin should still have my phone number. Ask him to put you in touch with John in Riverbend.

Company Response

This project made us scratch our heads. The problems were quite obvious however It was very difficult to pinpoint the root cause. After identifying the problem ,the project went off with out a problem

I needed cabinets for an office renovation so I checked the usual places - the big box hardware stores and my favourite Swedish store. I then discovered the Cupboards Express showroom at Delton Cabinets. It was a worthwhile discovery for four reasons: 1. The selection blew me away. Everyone else had a limited selection of finishes whereas Cupboards Express offered hundreds of combinations of profile, stain and gloss. Matching the decor of the rest of the office was easy. 2. The cabinets themselves have solid sides and backing, unlike the particle board sides and cardboard-like backs everyone else seems to have. 3. The cabinets were assembled, which saved me a morning's work. (I have to admit to having trouble following schematics for some of the "easy-to-assemble" furniture and cabinets.) 4. Finally, the cost wasn't more than the big box stores or the Swedish store would have charged. To sum up, I got superior quality, a much better selection and pre-assembled cabinets at no extra cost. I couldn't ask for more.

$1,600.00
