Our chimney was in need of repair and we shopped around and got several quotes. Not only was Walter Townshend & Son competitive in terms of cost, they live in the neighbourhood and were the only providers who agreed to meet with me face to face (the others just left a quote in the mailbox). They came when they said they would, took down the old chimney right to the roof and did the rebuild. They did a fantastic job and, because of that, we also had them replace several feet of brick around our garage and then additional work on the piping from our water heater to the chimney. Now I found out they also do fireplace inserts and I wouldn't look anywhere else. They are reliable, honest and competitive. Having a local owner and his two sons do the work was great. I highly recommend them.
