Very appreciative and grateful to work with Naveen and Jarnail from Ancient Movers. They were wery polite, followed our directions, and were extremely careful with furniture and walls. Really appreciated working with such careful and courteous movers. Would hire again!

Mother raccoon moved 5 babies to upstairs patio in the overnight. Colin and Yannick were able to quickly come next morning. We discussed strategies based on their expertise. The problem was solved. We appreciated their quick response, professionalism, and subject matter expertise. Would use again.

We had a problem with the backup sump pump and battery. Rod inspected it, and could not get the system working. We were able to get the backup pump unit, controller and backup battery replaced in a few hours. Rod and his assistant were easy to work with, and we feel he did a good job to quickly fix the issue, and we appreciated the full clean-up that was done afterwards. We would be happy to work with Precision Plumbing again.

It was a real pleasure to work with Darryl. He listened to what our concerns were, took the time to source us multiple options and did a fantastic quality installation. We had tile work done, popcorn ceiling repair, and some carpentry and painting work done on the outside porch. Overall, Darryl was top notch to work with, really cared about the quality workmanship of his work and left everything clean. He was very good at follow up and was very accommodating to our schedule demands. We would not hesitate to work with Darryl for a second!

These guys did a very careful job to line up the new floor with the existing floor. We had special baseboards, and the installer took special care so we could re-use. A high quality job. We are very satisfied with Super Choice.

Valentin was very professional and did quality plumbing work for us. He fixed a leaking pipe, replaced a basement toilet and changed the water pipes and shutoffs in our laundry room. He was prompt in his communications, showed up when expected and pro-actively and independently solved unforeseen problems for us. I was satisfied with the price. Highly recommended: I would certainly hire Strong Plumbing again.

We were looking for a mural for our "breakfast nook." After looking at a lot of cheesy murals elsewhere, we were stunned with the large selection at Erin Mills Paint & Decor center. I'd expect to pay more there, but their prices were no different than elsewhere. We picked a National Geographic mural at a good price, and they had it delivered in less than 5 days. Fast! We had McDonalds Painting install it while he painted the rest of the kitchen: he said it was easy to put up. We are happy with the results: far more interesting than wallpaper.

We had difficulty finding a kitchen floor that we liked. We wanted the look of wood wire brush, but needed something easier to clean for a kitchen. We found a "wave" textured finish from Preverco that we liked from Super Choice. The installation was absolutely perfect. The installers did a fantastic job to match nosing to steps. We are pleased with the quality of the Preverco floor, and Super Choice's installation was incredibly fast, tidy, and we couldn't ask for higher quality workmanship.

We are impressed by the high calibre of Jeff's work. The previous owner of our house did not go gently on walls: I have never seen so many nail holes in walls as we had! Add dark colours and unusual wall textures... our walls needed a lot of work. Jeff did a heroic job in patching and painting our living/dining room, 2 bedrooms, foyer, kitchen, closets, popcorn ceilings plus every single windowframe in the house. Given all the prep work needed, we were surprised at how fast he completed the job with high quality. It is a pleasure to work with Jeff. We appreciate his realistic advice, flexibility, and patience; as we did all sorts of "bad client" things (er, sorry again for changing the dining room colour the night before you started!). Excellent detail and clean-up: highly recommended for a stress-free experience... and great looking finished job!

We've worked with Frank from No Job Too Small on dozens of projects around our house. He's replaced wooden siding, fences, decks, installed a 10' exterior porch awning, exterior house lights, interior electrical/fixtures/pot lights, full powder room (bathroom) renovations, basement renovations (removing a wall, putting in a wall/doors) and painting. He's always been terrific to work with. Honest, good workmanship, and likes a quality job. We really appreciate that he leaves the house clean every night while working on a project. We highly recommend Frank as a general contractor for both interior and exterior renovations.

We are delighted by the excellent work done by Jeff on the exterior painting of our house. Our house is mainly wood siding, 20+ years old. Some of that siding had started to wear, and we wondered if it had enough life left for another round of paint. Well, we hired Jeff for the job, and now our house looks absolutely stunning. He was honest and fair in assessing the job and pricing the work. I trusted his advice, and, when he was done, that siding looked far superior than I thought it could. The job took a couple weeks, and we were impressed by the amount and detail of the prep work he put in. I believe it is this attention to prep work that will make the this investment last for years. He carefully washed the whole house, removed all the eaves-troughs and downspouts, and hand-scraped all peeling areas. Also of note is his smooth detail work around all the fixtures and edges; and even the top of the chimney stack! Jeff is a reliable, trustworthy professional that delivers through, quality work. Highly recommended, and well worth the wait to get in his schedule.

We hired Dupont to purchase and install an AC unit & humidifier to our forced air system. They promised us that we would get a $50 rebate on the AC unit. However, the manufacturer did not want to honour that, and it was an ongoing issue. Then, a month after the installation, the water connection to the humidifier broke while I was in the hospital. We got home from the hospital to find 1/3 of our basement flooded. They came and fixed the connection. On the rebate issue, Dupont finally did help us get the rebate. I felt I really had to pressure them to live up to this part of their commitment to us. $50 is a small amount on a $4,000 job, but they might have been more helpful about it - especially as we never sought damages for the water damage done as a result of the poor connection to the humidifier.

We signed up for a full year of Weed Man services for our lawn. Maybe I was too optimistic. But when I hired "Weed Man" I thought this company would get rid of weeds. Hasn't worked out that way. Our lawn and gravel areas are full of weeds. And I've also been disappointed to see some of the biggest brown patches I've ever seen on our lawn this year. We're pretty good about watering so I doubt the big brown patches are entirely a watering issue. We're not planning on hiring this company next year, and we will have to request them to take us off their phone solicitation list. (They really used to phone us a lot, in the years before we signed up.)

Merry Maids (200 Evans Ave Unit #1) clean our house monthly, and its GREAT. We love coming home after work, and everything is beautiful and clean, and smells nice. We love the job that Merry Maids do. Terrific, highly recommended.

When they ran into trouble we had a spell of them not returning our phone calls. (Also many no-shows on their part.) Finally, the job was done months later. We waited 5 days before parking on the driveway (King guys told us to wait 3). The morning after we did park on it for the first time, we were able to see (tiny) ruts from where the tires sat. We're living with it. Can't bear to call them again.

Our older home needed a major update inside. Kipling came in and gutted the main level living and dining room, the stairway, the upstairs hallway, master bedroom, and installed flooring in the attic. They redid the HVAC and upgraded electrical throughout. We were thrilled by the quality workmanship, the professionalism and the attention to detail. The job went from demo'ing the old plaster and lathe right to finishing (painting). It was so easy for us. After poor experiences with previous contractors, working with Kipling was a dream. Fast, clean (we lived in the house during the reno), and they didn't nickel-and-dime us on the small stuff. We've referred them to our neighbours for a similar job, who also have great feedback on Kipling's work.
