We chose road runners primarily because we wanted to feel as little pressure as possible during the move and we achieved this by paying for the service by the hour. This way we could ask for unexpected things to be done, such as boxing of certain items or making other changes as the move went along. Paying by time rather than a fixed quote gave us flexibility. Ken, Brandon and Tyrone did the work and were great.

First the top broiler element burned out, then the lower bake element failed. We liked this older built into the wall oven and really did not want to go to the much greater expense of replacing it. We had brought Joseph in a year or so ago and he had quickly repaired our dishwasher so we decided to call the appliance guy again to see what he could do for the oven. He had the necessary elements in his truck and within an hour oven had been pulled from its wall location and the elements were installed and the oven reinstalled - good as new again. Thanks Joseph

We had Mr M Aviv a few months ago to fix a leaking fawcett. His promptness and skill were evident then so when a new kitchen leak developed, he was the plumber we again called. His helper showed up as scheduled, and completed the job in quick time. We were once again pleased with the service

This company had earlier done a great job in carpeting our basement living area so we called them back to do another room upstairs. Once again, the timing, carpet selection and workmanship was perfect and this time credit should also go to his friendly, highly efficient carpet installer whose name I think was Allan. Our great thanks to him as well.

Friendly, fast and efficient - 3 experienced carpet men (Gord, Dave and Jamie) arrived just about as scheduled and immediately got to work on cleaning the carpeting in 3 bedrooms, connecting hallways and staircases. These had previously been cleaned a year or so ago by another company. We found the Reliable Carpet workmanship decidedly superior and will employ this company next time

Knowledgeable, skilled, and efficient, Mr. Aviv set about fixing a dripping kitchen faucet and had it repaired quickly avoiding the alternative of replacement. After he and his apprentice left the house, I realized I had forgotten to mention another problem faucet in the laundry room. Even though he was a few miles down the road toward another appointment, he turned his truck around and came back and fixed the second faucet just as efficiently. Friendly and personable service at most reasonable cost!

The old carpeting in the basement had to go! Mark came to the house (on time) brought samples, suggested the quality, the colour and the type of underlay. Since we don't know much (or anything) about carpeting, we just went with his ideas. Perfection it was! The installers arrived as scheduled, worked diligently and did a completely professional job.

Due to roof water leakage a small damaged area on the ceiling below appeared. Dave arrived on time and quickly and briskly went about the repair. A little ceiling paint later, almost like new! I liked his quick and efficient manner and will call him again when necessary. Thanks Dave

Old Maytag dishwasher finally broke down. We were ready to chuck it out but thought we might just take a chance on a repairman although not looking forward to the usual "keep you waiting" types and "not sure what to do" types who occasionally inhabit the repair field. Joe arrived on schedule, figured the problem out in minutes. Had the necessary parts in his van and had it fixed it in a few more minutes. Joe knows his stuff!
