Costco is all about buying cheap and in bulk. I went there for groceries and was surprised to find the perfect patio set for my backyard. They don't have lots of selection, but if you like something they have you know you're getting a great deal. The only bad thing is you have to have a membership to shop here ($45). So unless you do quite a bit of shopping there you may not benefit too much.
I'm not much of a do-it-yourselfer but the staff at Home Depot are so knowledgeable and helpful that organizing my cupboard was easy. The only thing is it can be difficult to find their sales staff in the first place. They may want to hire more staff for evenings and weekends.
Home Depot is known for their no-nonsense quality rennovations. I have to admit its true. It was easy to order the humidifier and the service is excellent. The person who came to install the humidifer was knowledgeable and very efficient. The only problem was they're so booked up you have to wait for 2 weeks for the installation. It's well worth it though!
Sick of painting yourself to save money? It may be pricey but the Home Depot is the way to go. They came and painted the living room, dining room and kitchen all in one day. No preparation, painting, or cleanup for me!
