We got Otto's guys to come back twice. We had tuckpointing done throughout the entire house, the chimney capped, bricking in a milkbox, steel lintels to fix a bad job from before and soldier course on wide windows. Oh, and parging. it was a lot. It did take the mason a long time at our home to do these things, but it was a lot. The work was decent. I don't know much about masonry (nothing actually), but i do like clean lines and a good aesthetic. This was a very functional job, but perhaps not the best looking. We liked them enough though to invite them back to do another job - bricking in a window. Which again, was decent. I would have the back again. thanks guys!

I had Hali from Royal Custom come to our home to design our closet. It was AMAZING! I've been wanting this closet for SO long. I already had an idea about what i wanted, but Hali worked with me to really get as much function out of the space as possible. I also ended up visting the showroom in Vaughan, which isn't the best showroom in the world, but i saw a closet there that i loved and ended up upgraded from the basic white to like a chocolate white (i think) with a grain. It's amazing! The installers were FAB! It took a little long to get the closet made, but it was worth the wait. LOVE LOVE LOVE! thank you Hali.

We got Adam from Clera to come over and install all new windows in our home. He was flexible with timing and the windows have been great! love the look. Also, we had a issue with one of the windows having a small crack - likely from manufacture - and it was not even an issue getting it replaced!! thanks so much!

We used Alex a few times!~ He's a fun guy. We did a project in our basement where he stained our brand new stairs to match our laminate flooring. It was awesome. He also did our mantel and railing. Upstairs we had him install our flooring and him and his crew did a great job! Thanks!!!

We used FoamWorks on 3 seperate occasions. We redid our entire bungalow and they were awesome. The foam they use...the soy one...doesn't really smell. The guys do a decent job cleaning up and are super easy to work with. Thanks Daniel and Mark and Cory...

I almost didn't go with Kevin because he asked me to call him, and I prefer to deal over email, BUT i was in a hurry to get work done and decided to call. I'm so glad I did!!! He came quickly to give us a quote and was able to deliver a quote on the spot (probably because we were in a hurry). He somehow got guys to our house 48 hours later and it was GREAT! They did a wonderful job. Kevin came in and commented on a couple of things that weren't 100% that his guys did, but looked great to me. PERFECTIONIST!!! and his guys already knew they were going to fix the minor issues. The guys arrived on time, where courteous and overall, did a fab job. If I had more renos (and thank gawd i don't) i would hire him in a heartbeat!! THANK YOU!

The owner of the company is very nice. We felt out of all the people we talked to that he was the nicest and when he came by to quote, he understood our needs. His installer is a different story. We had major problems with him. Our project consisted of having two basement windows custom-made and installed in an existing opening and then two other windows that would be double the size of the existing opening (also custom made and installed – knocking out bricks) The windows are of great quality. They look really sharp, modern and appear to be made of good materials. We are really happy with that product so far. The problem came with the installation. For the two windows that were just being replaced, the flashing outside was HORRIBLE. Pieces were cut that didn't match up - it looked terrible from the street. No two windows matched in terms of flashing! For the double-wide windows, we were told a steel lintel would be installed. All the people we quoted said the project required a steel lintel. On the day of the installation, the installer said steel wasn’t needed and a wood lintel would be fine. We trusted the experts (they reason we hired them and didn’t do it ourselves). He then said NOTHING WAS NEEDED and installed the huge windows without anything up top. Needless to say, the window opening is about 48 inches…within a WEEK the window was bowed - clearly struggling under the pressure of the house structure. We called back the owner Danny and he said the installer would come back and fix it if we weren’t happy. We said that the lintel needed to be fixed and that all the flashing needed to be fixed. He said, no prob. By this point too, I should mention that flashing nails weren't used and the ones there had rusted within a week. The installer came back and it was a gong-show at our house. The installer was still insisting a steel lintel wasn’t need! STILL! It required us to make THREE trips to the home depot to buy supplies – including to buy the lintels and foam (What window installs comes without enough foam!!!!!!!!!) My father ended up coming over and installing the steel lintel himself as the installer had no idea what he was doing. For the flashing, it got fixed, but of course there was caulking all over our brick that they didn’t remove and it took me a good 4 hours a few weekends later to chip/peel/sand it off the brick. Oh, just remembered, the caulking wasn’t even everywhere and some places were just missing caulking all together. We would have had water in our house for sure. At the end of it, we still have one window sill outside that isn’t even and water pools there. We need to reinstall it, put a wood board underneath to make it even. I was say that windows are great, but be VERY cautious of the person doing the job. The owner said he had never had a problem with this guy – but HOLY - he was not good. When we left to go to the Home Depot on one trip, we left him doing a window by himself – we told him to make sure he foamed all up in the cinder block holes and put insulation down there. He said yes. When we returned, we asked him if he’d done it. He said yes. We went to check with a flashlight and BAM…we could see the outside sunlight…there was no insulation anywhere. If this installer could cut a corner, he will – just not anymore at our place. The owner ended up taking I think it was $600 off our bill for the work we still have to do and the supplies we bought.
