Thank you Tom and his team for a job well done. Everything was stated clearly on the contract and they showed up at 7:30 and was done by 1pm. The driveway was cleared, no junks left behind. The GAF roof looks great. Everyone was very professional!

We have been dealing with Safe Tech for years. We have had the alarm go off for varying reasons, nothing to do with Safe Tech and things were dealt with without any problems.

We had Robert come over to see if insulating the garage ceiling would help with the very cold room over the garage. He said that this was a very common problem with rooms over the garage. Well, we had the insulation put in and we have noticed absolutely no difference at all. The room is still as cold as before and the floor is still very cold.

Called Drainworks on Monday and they were out to see us on Tuesday. It would've been the same day, except I was not able to be at the house that day. The plumber called 30 minutes before arrival and showed up on time. Gave me a quote to the penny and the work was completed as promised. Very professional.

I hired this company this winter for snow removal. It is pathetic. I had to shovel the snow twice already. You cannot even see the driveway, it is so bad. The problem is, they come too late and people drive on the snow, it gets packed, then they come later and push some of the smow away, leaving a layer of snow underneath. The problem with this company is (which I found out later) they have contract with Petro Canada, so they shovel their snow first. All the other residential customers have to suffer because they don't have enough staff. Ridiculous!

We had a large mirror for our bathroom vanity. We were able to get a quote immediately on the phone. They came to measure within a few days and got the mirror installed a few days later. The price was a lot lower than some of the other quotes I got. The quote was what they said it would be and they came when they said they would. Overall a very good experience.

We recently had a walk in closet done by Superior Closets. Joseph came by and did the measurement, the drawings and quote on the same visit. The quote was a lot less than the competitors. He was not pushy and left it up to me to decide. The installers came just as promised and finished on time. The finished product was great, exactly what I wanted. Would highly recommend them for any closet project.

I was introduced to this company through my (former) contractor, Sonny of Cedarvale. He is also someone you should stay away from. Anyways, this company was suppose to supply a marble countertop with 2 cutouts for the undermount sinks. There must have been a 4 inch overhang, ie the hole was cut way too small for the sink. They kept claiming they cut it according to the template. The sinks were manufactured to be installed that way! Do you think we were born yesterday? The contractor finally admitted that they did cut the wrong template, but they would not supply a new countertop. Do yourself a favour, runaway. There are many other companies with high tech equipment that will do the job right. You don't end up saving much at all.

Sonny came highly recommended by some good friends. Everything at the beginning went quite well and smoothly. The wheels fell off the wagon when the countertop people Sonny subcontracted cut the wrong template for our undermount sinks. The countertop hole was at least 4 inches smaller than the sink! He told me that that is how these sinks were manufactured to be installed! He finally admitted that they cut the wrong templates. But he refused to change the countertop. Then I bought legs that held the faucet for my freestanding bathtub. He hired some plumbers who completely scratched and gouged the legs. He didnn't say a thing. When I found out, at first he said he would polish them. We told him that scratches that deep cannot be polished, the entire legs have to be replaced ($1100). Then he said they came out of the package like that! Then he blamed Ginger's (the store we got them from), they didn't have the proper parts... Bottomline, he would not take responsibility for his actions. The problem is he first comes across as a very nice man. But God forbid he or one of his subcontractors makes a mistake. Then he is a completely different person. Lacks any sense of pride or integrity. If anyone is fooled and refers him to you, RUN!!!

Bought glass knobs from summerhill. Was able to find these knobs that I couldn't find anywhere else. They told me they had them in stock, but when they went to the back to check, they said they ran out. But they had another one from a different company which was better and they gave it to me for the same price.

Got quotes from several stores selling the Perrin and Rowe thermostatic shower. All were around the same price, except Taps, which was $200 less. I have purchased other things like a kitchen faucet and Taps was also the best price

bought some bathroom accessories like towel bars, toilet paper holder, toothbrush holder, trays in July/August when they had their bathroom sale. very heavy duty hardware, quite substantial and at a good price

We called Bees and Pest Removal after substandard service by another company. The Bees & Pest came and set up traps and removed all the raccoons within days. They also charged us less than half the price of the other company. They even called back to see if everything was ok.

We had a raccoon problem in April 2007. We paid over $700 and the raccoons were still there. We called to complain, the lady on the phone was the rudest person ever. They said the raccoons were wild animals and they could not control it if they came back. Bulls!! They do not know what they are doing. We eventually got another company paid a lot less, and the raccoons are now gone
