It's not often that the person who takes your phone calls and writes up your quotation is the same person who comes to do the job. From my first call, Michael was always straight with me. He shared helpful recommendations on color/insulation/style based on the design of our home, and was patient with me as I flipped back and forth on options over the course of multiple calls. He never tried to up-sell, and was honest when explaining what he felt was worth an upgrade, and what was not. I'm extremely impressed with the level of service, and the attention to detail, that Michael and his team took to the installation of our new door. They showed up on time, took the time to try to pick up any stray screws, and cleaned up after themselves. Would I recommend Smart Doors, Inc.? Absolutely!

With no pressure tactics, the people at Value (Peter and Andrew, in particular) took the time to understand our lifestyle and help us select a wood that we both loved the look of and would stand up to our two dogs. We decided on the pre-finished Jatoba (Brazilian Cherry) by Superior. It has been almost a year since the installation, and the floor still looks as great as it did on the first day! We originally went with Value for the material only, but after firing our general contractor for a botched kitchen tile installation, we asked Value to also take on the installation. Their installers were nothing short of perfectionists, ensuring that every line was as straight as possible, which is quite the task given that there isn't a single square corner in the house. We would whole-heartedly recommend Value Wood Floors to anyone looking to deal with an honest company that stands behind its products and is more interested in recommending the best product for you, not the most expensive.

Our 25+ year old A/C could not have died at a worse time, right in the middle of a heatwave! We are normally the type of people to do extensive research before requesting quotes, but given the circumstances, we jumped on Home Stars and quickly called some of the top-rated HVAC companies, including Spring Home. We could not be happier with the customer service that we have received from Spring Home, from scheduling the initial in-home estimate to answering our questions even after the invoice was paid. Upon calling Spring Home, a sales representative by the name of Cy Goh promptly scheduled an in-home visit. Unfortunately for Cy, he was the first to visit, so we asked him hundreds of questions, as we attempted to educate ourselves on the HVAC industry. Cy was extremely courteous and informative, spending the better part of 2 hours (no, that is not a typo) answering our questions and providing us different options, all while we sat in our sweltering hot kitchen. After speaking with countless other HVAC companies, and having since done our research, we confirmed that Cy's explanations and recommendations were spot on. Spring Home was not the cheapest quote, but in an industry where the quality of the installation is as important as the equipment being installed, we decided to go with Spring Home for the job. Spring Home's technicians arrived on time and went straight to work, working from 10am to 6pm. Their installers took the extra effort to ensure that all the piping was neatly laid out, and did not seem to bat an eye at our regular supervision. Further, they did not try to nickel and dime us by cheaping out on inexpensive parts. They worked independently, but were sure to ask for our input on installation decisions that needed to be made, such as where to run the piping. Following the installation, Cy was quick to follow-up to ensure that we were happy. He was readily available to patiently answer any question that we had (and there were many).
